Mark 12:14-17:  “When the Pharisees came, they said unto Jesus, ‘Master, we know that you are true, and care for no man; for you regard not the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth.  Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?  Shall we give, or shall we not give?  But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why are you tempting me?  Bring me a Denarian that I may see it.  They brought it.

Jesus said to them, “Whose image and subscription is on the Denarian?  They said unto him, Caesar’s.

Jesus answered, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s.

Mark 13:22:  For false Christs and false prophets shall arise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce if it were possible even the elect.”

I am sending this out to a very select group of Christians.  This Word has been in my Spirit for several months.  I have chosen to hide it in my heart because I have not felt it is either my business or my place to address it.  Also, this “perception” has overtaken thousands of Christians.    However, the word becomes stronger in my Spirit.

Last week I received an email from a Christian woman advising me to invest $100.00 into Babylonian currency and in return I would receive $100,000.00 from my investments.  This is a 1000-fold return.

I know very little in the natural about this investment procedure.  However, in the Spirit, I believe it is a spirit of deception that satan has released to Christians to usurp the 100-fold blessing of the Kingdom of God.

The immediate result of this deception is those who have invested in this currency have put their hope, sometimes life-savings and/or borrowed money into this.  These Christians are putting their Faith not on the economy of the Kingdom of God, but the economy of the Babylonian system.  Many are so desperate that they live from one promised delivery deadline date to the next.  This is a spirit-of-gambling.

Why do I think this?

  1. The currency originated in the Babylonian system.
  2. From a heathen (goat) nation.
  3. The government of that nation is unstable and an enemy of Israel.
  4. The leaders of that nation practice a religion that is an enemy of Christ, His Kingdom, and Christians.
  5. There has been no seeds deposited by that government into the Kingdom that will reap Kingdom blessings.
  6. The Word of God has promised to the Kingdom of God a 100-fold blessing.  No where in the Bible is a greater blessing promised for any other Kingdom.

It may be the Lord has spoken to you.  If so, then let it be.  This is the Word I feel the Holy Spirit has given to me.  I pray those of you who have made investments in this currency will not take offense, but will pray with me that the Holy Spirit of Truth will reveal all Truth to His saints.  As for me, I will continue making my deposits into the Kingdom of God.

Subject: FROM JOHN & KELLY / Re: Spirit of Deception

Amen!!  Pastor Carolyn, over the past 15 years, we cannot tell you how many times people have approached us about getting involved in their multi-level marketing schemes or investment opportunities in foreign currency!  Maybe had to do with our age and appearance?  (Wish we had a dollar for every time! [big smile]).  Seems like the hot ticket right now is Iraqi Dinar.  It's always something.  We have seen these 'mini-groups' actually break away and form into almost a kind of separate, individual 'mini-denomination' of their own.  You not only have to believe in Jesus to join their group, but also have to sign up to be part of their money-making machine, or you are out and are considered as being 'a stumbling block'  to 'what God is doing'.  Funny thing is that most of these people who have approached us about getting involved in their shenanigans are doing very poorly financially, and almost all of them never tithe and give offerings anywhere on a regular basis.  It would seem that the best advertisement for their schemes would be 'the proof in the pudding'.  Yet, we have never personally known anyone involved in any of these things who had either the proof or the pudding.  There is no such thing as any innocent 'get-rich-quick' scheme.  Jesus Christ is the only 'sure thing' (even bigger smile:-)!  We love and appreciate you...

‘He that hastens to be rich has an evil eye, and considers not that poverty shall come upon him…’  ‘He that is greedy of gain troubles his own house…’  ‘He that troubles his own house shall inherit the wind…’  And no, this is not the 'wind of anointing' (smile).  Seems pretty straightforward and simple, to those who have ears to hear and hearts that are willing to understand...
