WISDOM

THE GIFT OF WISDOM

August 11, 2015, the Year of Our Lord

On March 20, 2000, the Lord spoke to me in the night, “Carolyn there are three levels of My Wisdom.”  As I pondered and prayed before the Lord, I considered the following:

  1. The Spirit of Wisdom revealed to Solomon – (1 Kings 3:12) Behold I have done according to your words:  Lo, I have given you a wise and understanding heart; so that there was none like you before you, neither after you shall any arise like unto you.”
  2. THE MYSTERY OF WISDOM, the revelation of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Lord of Glory…The wisdom which the Holy Spirit teaches in comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” (1 Co. 2:7)  We speak the wisdom of God in mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory.”
  3. If anyone does not stumble on word, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body.”  (James 3:2)

1 Co. 1:30: “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption…”

Wisdom is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to us through the Grace of the Spirit.

The Spirit of Wisdom is one of the seven fold spirits of God which flows from His character and nature; and is released to us through Grace as we live in the realm of the Spirit.

The hidden Wisdom is found in the revelation of Jesus Christ in the gospels to mankind that we may experience the glory of God in human vessels.

James 3: 13-18: True wisdom will result in good conversation or the goodness of our conversation: no malice, envy, strife of tongues, criticism, negative words, vanity, pride, coarseness or roughness.  “Let no corrupt communication proceed from your mouths.”   Out of good conversation will come good works.

Not he who thinks well, or he who talks well are considered wise, but he who lives and acts well.  True wisdom from above will be known by meekness and good temper.

We will be able to bridle our own anger and patiently bear the anger of others.  When we are mild and calm, we are able to hear reason and speak it.  Wisdom produces meekness and meekness increases wisdom.

The difference between men’s pretending to be wise and their being really so, and the wisdom which is from beneath and that which is from above is shown by a good life and it is marked by meekness.

The opposite of the meekness of wisdom is bitter envy and selfish ambition.  If we operate in envy and selfish ambition, our whole life is a denial of the truth revealed in Jesus.

False wisdom is earthly, carnal, and un-spiritual, of the devil.  It belongs to earth rather than to heaven to nature rather than the Spirit and to demons rather than to God.

1 Cor. 15:44:  If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body… (46) The spiritual did not come first but the natural and after that the spiritual…  Our Adam nature bears the likeness of the earthly nature, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from Heaven.  Our spiritual man is created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness (Eph. 4:24)

True wisdom is therefore heavenly in its origin and it is first of all pure then peace loving.

It is pure in its essence and manifests itself as peaceable.

The walk of the Holy Spirit realm of the Christian is one of purity.  Without purity from the Spirit, we will never walk as peacemakers, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

In James 3:2 “For in many things we offend all, if any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.”

A perfect control of the tongue would mean a perfect life.  Even Moses and Paul failed here. (Ps. 106:33; Ac. 23:5)

Fortunately James did not say that God cannot tame the tongue.  (Verse 9) “With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father and with it we curse men who have been made in God’s likeness.  The cursing James condemns springs from bitterness in our hearts.

True wisdom then is first of all  pure (a pure heart), then peace loving.  Envying and strife are opposed to the meekness of wisdom.  Purity of the heart is the seat of both.  Envy and wisdom cannot dwell together in the same heart.

Envying is first and excites strife; then vain-glorying and lying after which comes confusion and every evil work.  One sin is a domino affect to the other.

This evil work springs from earthly principals.  It is sensual and indulging the flesh.  All who fall into this trap fall into the condemnation of the devil.

Also, we could consider Prov. 9:10 as the foundation of wisdom:  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is under standing.”

Then there is the scripture the Lord gave me by vision on March 14, 2000.    I have it drawn it out for you to see.  It was a book covering on which was written in the top left corner in large letters:  Gift of Wisdom; flowing from the top right corner in a large circle around the letters SPIRIT  was a stream of the Holy Spirit.  Underneath that in the left corner is “And Life” – Proverbs 8:35:

Prov. 8:35: And whoever finds me finds life and shall obtain favor of the Lord.

Romans 8:10: “And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.”

Then we must consider 1 Co. 2:13-16:  “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

Proverbs Nine tells us that Wisdom has built a house. She has hewn out seven pillars…then gives a description of the feast of Wisdom in her house.

“Wisdom (Jesus Christ and his brethren – the Church) has built her house.  The progression from the tents of Moses to the tabernacle of David to the permanency of the temple of Solomon takes us from visitation to the habitation.  She has hewn out her seven pillars (the seven spirits of God, or the fullness of the Spirit as revealed in Isa. 11: 1-2 and Rev. 1-5 or the seven lights of the golden candlestick, or the seven horns (all power) and the seven eyes (all-seeing) of the Revelation.  Then there are the seven colors of the rainbow and Joseph’s coat.  All reveal the nature and anointing that rests upon the overcomer of Rev. 2-3.” (P.P.T. K.V.)

Wisdom is a one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  It is a Gift from God.  It is a gift he gave to Solomon and a Holy Spirit Gift to the brethren

Rom. 8:2: “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Just like righteousness, salvation, miracles, sanctification, prophecy, understanding, knowledge, power, and Spirit of counsel.  It is a gift.  It comes from above (from the Spirit).  It is pure without mixture.  The wisdom from above is peaceable.  The truly wise will run after peace and pursue it.  Where peace is broken, they will desire restoration.  Heavenly wisdom makes men peaceable.

It is gentle, never rude, overbearing, domineering, and selfish or demand its own way.

Heavenly wisdom is full of mercy and good fruits, both to relieve those in need and to forgive those who offend.  It is never partial, and never critical.  It is without hypocrisy.  It has no facades, disguises nor deceits.

It is sincere, open steady, uniform and consistent with itself.  Oh that God would pour out a revival of Wisdom upon the church and the nation.  True wisdom will go on to sow the fruits of righteousness in peace and thus to make peace in the world.

That which is sown in peace will produce a harvest of righteousness and joy

Prophecy given March 16, 2000 after the vision on March 14, 2000.

That wisdom is preparing a marriage supper of “unity”, “a holy temple of the Lord” of all denominations into a gathering together in one, all things in Christ.  She (wisdom) has slaughtered her meat.  She has mixed her wine.  She has furnished her table.  She has sent out her maidens.  She cries out from the highest places of the city…She says, “For he who is simple lacks understanding, come, eat of my bread and drink of the wine I have mixed.” (Prov. 9: 2-6)

Quotes of Wisdom from my personal collection – sources indicated and some unknown:

We live below our privilege and fail to see our provision.

We don’t fail. We just learn.

You don’t know what goodness is until you get to the bottom of the dung heap and have to dig out –pray through.

Prayer points a path to Heaven.  Prayer moves the hands of God.  Prayer brings in God’s will on earth.  Praise is already there.

Worry is the opposite of prayer.

God’s people are the ones who will call on Him, believe Him, trust Him, and praise Him.

There is a Spirit which never admits defeat is not broken by disappointments or discouragements and never gives up.

“It is impossible that any ill should happen to the man who is beloved of the Lord…problems to him are no problems, but only good in a mysterious form.  Losses enrich him.  Sickness is his medicine, reproach his honor, death his gain” C. H. Spurgeon.

Offense is an opportunity for growth.

Jesus promises us peace, power and trouble.  In all trouble be alert to find the treasure.

There is no defeat in Jesus.

Tests come from God.

Temptation comes from Satan.

When we pray, circumstances don’t necessarily change.  We change.  We will be on top of the circumstances.

“A person who has wrong doctrine and humility can be corrected.  A person with mostly right doctrines and no humility will be resisted by the Lord he professes to serve.” (Jack Deere)

Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.

“You have granted me life and favor and your visitation has preserved my sprit.” (Job. 10:12).

Ec. 10:2: “A wise man’s heart is in his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left”.  In ancient cultures right and left are associated respectively with skill and awkwardness.

Ec. 10:b: “If the spirit of the ruler rise up against you leave not your place; for yielding pacifies great offences.”  This is wisdom in most relationships.  However, never yield to abuse, but yielding here is pride that will pacify offence.

Ec. 10:8: “He who digs a pit shall fall into it.”  All of us have at one time or the other had our enemies dig a pit for us to fall into.  If you see a pit, spring it.  The one who dug it will be the one who falls into it.  This is treachery.

Prov. 9:10: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”  The fear of the Lord is where true Wisdom---real life---begins.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.”

Word given to Tayo Fasan re: Wisdom - Another Look @ Things 'FROM' God & Things 'OF' God - Part 1 – date unknown:

You may agree with me that the true meaning of most biblical words and quotations is far beyond the prevalent interpretation that most believers give to it. The following article was born out of a conversation with a colleague in February 2012 on “WHY NOT ALL WORDS IN THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD” i.e. why the bible for example contains promises or Words FROM God (which unbelievers and carnal believers can or have accessed) but most importantly,  The Word OF God, which few believers and even ministers have discerned till date - because it has to do with God’s secret that must be revealed in appointed seasons and to those whom the Godhead grants sure mercies unto.

I’ll start by making reference to an understanding that can be culled from the two prepositions ‘OF’ & ‘FROM’.

1.   There is a Wisdom From God. The Cherubs of the third heaven have access to the highest form of this wisdom. One of them (Heyel, later the devil) fell and perverted (inverted) this order of this wisdom in him (Eze. 28:15) and he has been reigning over generations of fallen men with ever since. Adam, his Sons, the patriarch’s, Solomon and men over generations before Christ accessed this order of wisdom in different degrees.

2.   There is The Wisdom OF God. This was the wisdom packaged in the tree of life but despised by Adam. Such was the wisdom meant to make him wiser than the devil, and just like most generations of believers do till date, Adam despised learning it because of the demands that it places on everyone that would partake of (inherit) it i.e. the demand of losing what we call ‘our life’ (Matt. 10:39). This wisdom was repackaged and fully revealed by God in and through to last Adam (the man Christ Jesus), and then unto the Apostles etc (2Pet. 3:15/1Cor.1:30/2Cor. 3:16). This wisdom is hidden in nature (1Cor. 2:7) and remains the only answer to the gates of hell/the wiles of Satan
