In 1990, I did a research paper for a class I was taking at L.S.U. The title of the paper was Pornography, A symptom of an Obsessive, Compulsive Addiction. This was before the Obama Administration’s Satanic open door for every kind of sexual perversion including transvestites, and homosexual teaching in public schools and the attempt to redefine sexual identity as neither male nor female. The Obama doctrine was also to redefine the creation of male and female in the image of God and redefine the family. If Satan can destroy the family, he thinks he can destroy the Church. The authority of the family under God is a higher authority than the authority of the Church. God created the family before He created the Church. Both the family and the Church are within the Kingdom of God.
In 1990, pornography and other unclean sexual sins were still viewed as a mental health problem. That view was totally rejected by the Health and Human Services of the Obama Administration; to the contrary, these sexual sins were validated and empowered.
Not only is pornography validated and empowered, but it has infiltrated the movie and television industry of the general public, under the guise of “freedom of speech.” As long as these sexual perversions were viewed as a mental illness, freedom of speech was not a deterrent to treating these addictions. Once the mental illness was no longer factored in, then it has been loosed without restraint.
Also, in accordance with the Preamble of the Constitution, we have an obligation to “promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” Involvement in an addictive behavior is defined as destructive, “if the pattern of behavior, or motivation, is abusive or compulsive.” (Jed Diamond)
As Christians and citizens of the Kingdom of God, we have a greater obligation to make a stand against what the LORD GOD calls unclean and calls sin.
1: 21-14: “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.”
Paul is weighing the Hellenistic society of his day and finds it wanting. Everywhere is chaos. Not unlike the United States today, Rome was full of wickedness. However, the Roman Christians were famous for their Faith. Travelers would talk of them as they journeyed about the empire. In time their faith was known in all the major cities of the Gentile world.
Seneca a philosopher wrote, “Rome is full of crime and vice. Vileness gains in every street. Vice is no longer practiced secretly but in every street. Innocence has not only become rare, it is extinct. A monstrous contest of wickedness is going on… He confirms Paul’s account of the awfulness of the heathen.”
Animals have become gods, man has become woman, wrong has become right. Nature without the true God has become unnatural. The Creator has been rejected and creation is in chaos; for the apostle these two facts are cause and effect.
In resisting the high moral standards of God, they quickly lost their appreciation for God. This led them to abandon the true knowledge of God and find a way to worship Him without having to put up with His Holiness. But once the high knowledge of God was shunned, man went into spiritual darkness.
These men began to search out the meaning of life through reason. This is the basis of philosophy. The man who tries to explain himself and the world without the light of God is a philosopher. The word means, ‘lover of wisdom.” The wisdom, of course, is man’s not God’s.
John 8:12: Jesus said I am the light of the world; he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
This is what we see on our TV screens night after night as the pundits of television philosophy about the condition of the world. None will ever come to the right conclusion with out the light of God.
The man, who rejects God, soon ends up doing the most stupid thing a man can do, worshipping something he has made with his own hands and calling it his god… because they did not glorify Him; their fate was the sexual degrading of their bodies.
1:24-26: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever Amen. For this cause God gave them up to vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.”
Humanity reaches the depths when its women become corrupt. For God intends that the virtues of the race should be preserved in her. But when she abandons herself to the lower nature, society is doomed. When women fall from their high places, man becomes inflamed and abandons himself to unrestrained vileness.
1:27-28: “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”
When a man turns his back on God, refusing to have God in his thoughts, God removes His witness from that man’s conscience. Then the individual is abandoned to a life without restraint and his character degenerates as his evil nature takes over.
John 8:24: If you do not believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins.
1: 29-31: “Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
God made them harvest the crops they themselves had sown. Because they exchange the real God for false gods, by way of temporary punishment, they exchanged that which was natural for that which was unnatural. The price they paid for rejecting God was to become moral rejects.
This is the climax of sin. To assent coldly and objectively to others’ sins is worse than to succumb to temptation oneself in the heat of the moment.
When and how did we as a nation allow pornography and sexual perversion to become such an American obsession? In 1957, the U. S. Supreme Court decreed “material could be ruled obscene only if it could be utterly without redeeming social importance.” In 1967, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed obscenity rulings which gave a carte blanche for the porno industry. Chief Justice Burger argued in 1968 that “the states have wider interests than protecting juveniles and unwilling adults from exposure to pornography.” In 1970, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that “it is without proof that obscene material creates a clear and present danger to anti-social conduct.” Our government has consistently upheld the rights of pornographers. My research found eight (8) rulings by the Supreme Court on the L.G.B.T. rights. The last one was June 27, 2015, when the court ruled in favor of same sex marriage nation wide.
The U. S. Supreme Court has set Dec. 5, 2017, as the day for oral arguments on whether a Colorado baker has a First Amendment right to refuse to make wedding cakes for same-sex couples over religious objections.
In the past month, sexual misconduct allegations against United States Congressmen have opened like a flood burst through a dam. Not only has there been sexual misconduct, but they freely use tax payer money as hush money to settle with their victims. This slush fund is commonly known and accepted in the House and Senate as business as usual.
It is my persuasion it is the LORD GOD who is bringing judgment and justice to the sins of our government and their lack of regard or respect for God. Our government leaders have resisted the high moral standards of God and have abandoned the true knowledge of God. The result is the judgment of God.
In 1990, I also did a study on the Canaanite Curse. This curse is the result of sexual perversion. When sexual perversion was considered anti-social conduct, the curse was protected by walls of pain and denial, built on shame, pride, abuse and fear. However, today sexual perversion and sexual promiscuity is no longer considered anti-social conduct by our society.
Thirteen (13) sins i.e. demon spirits of the Canaanite Curse:

- Homosexuality – Gen. 13: 13; 19; Lev. 18:22 “You shall not lie with a man as with a woman, it is an abomination.”
- Incest – Lev. 18: 6-30 “None of you shall approach anyone close of kin to him to have sexual relations. I am the Lord. The nakedness of your father … nakedness of your mother, you shall not uncover; she is your mother, you shall not have intercourse with her. The nakedness of your father’s wife, you shall not uncover, it is your father’s nakedness. You shall not have intercourse with or uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father or of your mother, whether born at home or born abroad. The nakedness of your son’s daughter or of you daughter’s daughter…mother’s sister…mother’s near kinsmen…father’s brother…brother’s wife…daughter-in-law…near kinswoman…it is wickedness.
3. Inordinate Affection – Lev. 18: 18-30: You shall not take a wife of her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time. You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

Do not defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: The land is defiled; therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomits out her inhabitants. 13. Lying – Lev. 19:11-12: You shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. You shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.
When Sandra and I were in Washington, D.C. a few years ago, we were praying in the basement of the Cannon Office Building. The Lord spoke to me that a Canaanite Curse was over the building. We later learned Sara Ballenger was upstairs warring against a spirit of witchcraft while we were taking authority over the curse down stairs. This stands to reason since the House had actually appropriated a slush fund to cover the unclean spirit.
1:17: The gospel of Christ is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith.
Psalm 85:11: Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. The Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before Him; and shall set us in the way of His steps.
God’s righteousness is His holiness and His saving action.
We have continued to watch as the LORD GOD has overturned corruption, wickedness, and all the spirits under the Canaanite Curse.
In the Trump White House, there is a weekly Cabinet Bible study. It is the first one in 100 years.
Ralph Drollinger of Capitol Ministries is the teacher. He told CBN News. “These are godly individual that God has raised to a position of prominence in our culture.” Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Agriculture Secretary Sunny Perdue, and CIA Director Mike Pompeo are just a few of the regulars. Attorney General Jeff Sessions also attends the study.
There is no way to live a dedicated life in the face of adversity without the power of the Gospel of Christ.
It is through Faith, the Blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit we appropriate the work of the Cross and break the Canaanite Curse (Gal. 3: 13-14).
Washington, D.C. like Rome in the time of Paul, is a city of grandeur, power, culture, and pride. The heathen of Rome considered themselves to be wise men, yet they despised the gospel as so much foolishness. Paul says he is not ashamed of the Gospel. It is a power that eclipses the achievements of Rome. It is a power that eclipses the wickedness in Washington, D. C.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of salvation.
Christians some times sound like the Philosopher Seneca, we can philosophy about the problems of the world as he did. However, Paul carried the dunamis power of the Gospel to bring changes even to Rome.
The Holy Spirit is moving in our nation to clean up our government of all thirteen of the sins of the Canaanite spirit.
In the O.T. with all of its miracles, is a history of power. It is the power of God. Those miracles displayed God’s power working for man. When we come to the N.T., we again see power. But this time it is God’s power working in the man, Jesus Christ and His Church—taking sinners and making them righteous through faith in the Risen Lord.
When men believed the message, they were blasted out of their depravity and guilt and supernaturally lifted to the level of Christ! They were placed “in Christ.” Paul was keenly aware of the military power of Rome, but he knew that no power on earth could do for men what his gospel could do.
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes.
1 Co. 6:9-10: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be no deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
We know of many Christians who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and have asked him into their heart and to forgive their sins. Yet many have not been sanctified and are still living in sin. Inheriting the Kingdom of God means those who will walk in the power of the Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.
Zech 14:21: In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.
