FAITH OF GOD

FAITH OF GOD

Sunday, October 28, 2018, the Year of Our Lord

Pastor Carolyn Sissom

The Faith of God is the Faith of the Son of God, and is the highest realm of Faith.  The Faith of God created the universe by His spoken Word.  The Faith of God in Jesus Christ established His Kingdom on earth. The Faith of God in Christ Jesus raised Christ from the dead and will raise us to eternal life.  I pray today as we reach into the Third Heaven, we will apprehend that Faith of God on earth as it is in heaven; that we like Jesus will be able to bring that which is in Heaven to earth.   Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

I have Gift of Faith.  Since it is a “Gift,” I can’t take any credit or boast in the “Gift.”  All that I minister in Word, Gifts, Anointing, and Offices is through the Gift of Faith.  I have numerous sermons on Faith as the LORD has allowed me to explore and experience many realms of His Faith through all of the Gifts of the Spirit.  In this Fellowship, we press onward going from Faith to Faith and from Glory to Glory.  There are realms of Faith Glory we are yet to experience.

The LORD spoke to me in a dream in 1990.  He said, “Your faith has been purified in the fire seven times, go and teach it.”

The scripture confirms this word in Psalm 12:6:  The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of the earth, purified seven times.

So this means your faith will be tried, tested and purified.

I am reading the book, Moving In The Glory Realms, by Joshua Mills.  The Lord spoke to him of three dimensions of faith within the three realms of the Spirit.

“Some of us are guilty of hanging around the lower dimensions of faith and not exercising the spiritual muscle God has given us.” (J.M.)

Joshua Mills presents the three dimensions of Faith as:  Little Faith, Great Faith and Perfect Faith, the Faith of God.

  1. LITTLE FAITH – Jesus spoke about “little faith.”  Mt. 8:26:  Jesus said to them (the disciples), “why are you fearful, O you of little faith?”

Luke 12:28: If God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith.

Matthew 14:31: Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him (Peter), and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Matthew 16:8: Jesus said unto them (the disciples), O ye of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves, because you have brought no bread?

Jesus’ uses Little Faith to describe fear of lack, provision, safety, and well being – basically the LORD’s providential care of His own.

(Providential - definition: Occurring at a favorable time; opportune; advantageous, favorable, auspicious, propitious, involving divine foresight or intervention, divine, heaven-sent, miraculous.)

You have heard me define this realm of faith as the Outer Court, Passover, Wilderness, First Heaven, etc.

Eph. 2:8: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Little Faith relies on everything and everybody except God.”  Those of Little Faith believe in God, but have not made Him LORD.

  1. GREAT FAITHWhen we hear and receive the truths of the Scriptures and receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, our spirit enlarges and we are brought to another dimension of faith.

Matthew 8:10: When Jesus heard (the Centurion), He marveled, and said to those who followed, Assuredly, I say to you I have not found such

Great faith, not even in Israel.  (The Centurion believed him to heal his daughter by speaking.)

Matthew 15: 21-28:  Jesus answered and said to her (woman of Canaan), “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

1 Ti. 3:13:  For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Great Faith hears and receives the truths of the Scriptures.   Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we are brought into another dimension of faith.  This is the faith to operate in the gifts of the Spirit, believe God for miracles, healings, provision, safety, well being and His providential care and intervention into our lives.

“Great faith belongs to you- It is a Gift of the Holy Spirit; it is your faith in action…You are able to release it where and when you need it as a Gift given to you by the Holy Spirit.  In this sphere Jesus said, According to your faith be it unto you.” (Matthew 9:29).

In the past, you have heard me define this Faith realm as the Second Heaven, The Holy Place, Pentecost, Canaan, the realm of prophesying according to your faith, etc.

  1. PERFECT FAITH – This is the highest level of faith.  James 1:6 – Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of

sea driven and tossed by the wind.   In this scripture James is referring to asking for Wisdom.  On March 20, 2000, the Lord spoke to me in the night, “Carolyn there are three levels of My Wisdom.”  It is my conclusion that all the gifts of the Spirit and fruit of the Spirit operate in all three realms of the Spirit in different levels of power.  I have often described this third realm as FAITH GLORY.

New Testament faith (the faith of Jesus) is revealed in Hebrews 12.   Hebrews 12 faith is faith in fullness and makes itself of no reputation.  We

can conquer death with it and obtain the promise.

“While Jesus was on earth, He walked in this perfect dimension of faith influence.  He spoke, transacted, was directed by, and functioned under the understanding of God’s perfect will and methods of divine operation.  He only did what He saw the Father doing.  He only said what He heard the Father speaking.  Perfect faith is the actual faith of God, not faith from God.  It is in this place that we can say, In him we live, and move and have our being (Acts. 17:28).”  (J.M.)

Acts 3:16: His name (Jesus), through faith in his name (Jesus), has made this man (lame man at Gate Beautiful) strong, whom you see and know.  Yes, the faith which comes through Him (Jesus) has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.  (N.K.J.V.)

Acts 3:16: Faith in Jesus’ name has healed this man standing before you.  It is the faith that comes through believing in Jesus’ name that has made the crippled man walk right in front of your eyes. (Passion translation)

“Salvation faith relies on faith in God. “Our faith input determines our miracle output.  Faith in God believes the miraculous is accessible when and how God permits, but the faith of God understands the New Covenant by divine revelation and knows that the miracle is available NOW!” The faith of God is imparted to us by the Spirit and is perfect, permanent, and cannot be swayed.  This faith that Jesus had is available for us today.” (J.M.)

It is the same faith that healed the lame man at Gate Beautiful.  It was not the lame man’s faith.  He didn’t have any faith.  He was begging for alms. Peter declares in verse 12, We didn’t make this crippled man walk by our own power or authority, The God of our ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has done this.  For he has glorified his Servant Jesus. (P.T.)

Paul wrote, I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  And that which I now live in the flesh, I live through faith from the Son of God, the One having loved me and having given up Himself for me. (Gal.2:20 BLB)   King James reads, faith of the Son of God.

Paul was speaking about a supernatural faith of God that is divinely given to us.  Perfect faith enables us to overcome, and opens up the floodgates for a deluge of anointing.  This faith doesn’t come from self-effort or positive confession, but from the Spirit.

The faith of God is what the writer of Hebrews was speaking about when he said, By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.  (Heb. 11:3)

It was in this realm of faith, Faith of God, that everything came into being in the beginning.  The faith of God can only come by supernatural infusion and will synchronize our steps in the Spirit as the Word of God becomes the power of God living inside of us.

Faith takes on many different expressions.

Faith hearsFaith comes by hearing and hearing through the word of God. (Ro. 10:17) – Whoever has ears let him hear (Mt. 11:15).

Faith Sees   - Faith sees in the realm of the Spirit – Faith is never blind.  Faith sees the solution not the problem.  Faith sees the answer not the question.  Faith sees the miracle not the mess.  Faith gives us eyes to see what God sees.

Faith Speaks – Fear filled works will defeat you, but faith filled words will cause you to prosper.  Our words reveal the thoughts, intents, and beliefs that we carry within.  When we receive the faith of God for an issue, ours words change.  This is what begins the supernatural shift in the natural realm.  Faith boldly speaks the word that has the power to save.  Faith speaks of the promise as though already received, long before it is every naturally felt, seen, or heard.  We confess with our lips what we believe in our spirit.  Faith speaks what is sees in the supernatural dimension.  When the voice of faith speaks, vision is received.  Your words contain the power to create the world you’ll walk in tomorrow.  Your future is contained within the words that you speak today.  Go into the heavens and listen to what God is saying.  Listen for His words; see the pictures, images, and colors He displays.  See what God is doing, then declare it.  Speak it into the atmosphere by faith.  Then watch Him confirm it for you.

Faith Tastes – Faith as the ability to taste the flavors of heaven.  The Scriptures tell us that God’s word is sweet like honey.  Psalm 34:8: Taste and see that the LORD is good, blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Faith Acts – Faith requires Action – God’s Word always prospers.  If it is alive inside of you, you will also prosper.  The faith of God moves you to action.  You won’t be able to stand still when God’s Word becomes alive in you.  Faith reaches out and takes hold of whatever grace provides.  When God speaks we must listen.  Delayed obedience is disobedience.  Everything about this faith realm is contingent upon our willingness to respond.  We must do what we say and say what we do.  If faith truly believes, then it will act on what it believes and prosper accordingly.  God looks for people who will respond by faith and take action to make His glory known in the earth.

Faith Receives -  Faith doesn’t wait till later.  Faith receives now.  We must reach into the faith realm to receive.  By faith we reach up physically with out hands and apprehend that which the LORD desires to bless us with.  This is practicing how to place the natural into the supernatural  Mark 11:24:  Jesus said, Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

“Put Mark 11:24 to the test, focus on whatever you need for your home, family, or your spiritual and physical well being- and receive it by faith right now.  Reach into the faith realm and say, “Faith receives, and so I will receive by faith.  I will receive my miracle.   Since faith receives and I have faith, I will receive what I need today.”  (J.M.)

Faith Refuses – Faith has the right to refuse sickness and disease.  It has the right to refuse poverty.  It has the right to command that anything evil go into the pit.

Faith works by love – No matter what anybody says or does to me, I have purposed to walk in love so miracles can be released from my life.

God is love – the only way the faith of God can truly work is by God Himself being the driving force behind it.  That’s why He wants us to become a people who walk in His love.

Faith is Tested and Faith is Proven - When we find ourselves at the end of our own strengths and capabilities, we are ready to enter the next realm of the Spirit.  When we come to the end of ourselves, we discover the beautiful beginnings of God.  Faith leads us through difficult trials, but the anointing gives us the power to overcome them.

Next week the anointing.

Gal 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Gal 3:22 - But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe
