The Kingdom of God has come to those areas of our lives wherein Jesus is Lord. “Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” (Mt. 6:10).   It is in the Holy Ghost (Ro. 14:17).  Behold the Kingdom of God is within you.” (Lk. 17: 20-21)

We have been brought into the Kingdom for such a time as this.  The world system is cracking at the seams.

God has determined to shake heaven and earth in the end of this age.  I don’t believe anyone will dispute that the shaking has begun.  Every thing that can be shaken or moved will be removed.  He is removing the wicked.  Every thing that is a product of man’s wisdom and strength is going to be exposed and removed.  The shaking of the heavenly realm of the Spirit will produce a shaking in the earthly realm.

Ps. 76:8: “You did cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared and was still.”

Deut. 4:36: “Out of heaven He made you to hear His voice, that He might instruct you…”

The VOICE (Word) of the Lord is shaking heaven and earth.

Heb. 12: 26-29: Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.  And this WORD yet once more signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.  We received a kingdom which cannot be moved.  Let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear; for our God is a consuming fire.”

Christ in us is the part of the unshakeable Kingdom which will not be moved

Christ in us will bring forth and produce the Kingdom. Col. 1:26-27:  The mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Christ in You” is the principle of the Kingdom of God being within us as taught by Jesus.  The word “Christ” means “the anointed one.”  Thus the Kingdom is in us.  Christ, the Anointed One, is in us.    The anointed one in us will produce a Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy.  The prophetic anointing will speak and declare God unto men, producing righteousness.  The intercessors will cry out from the earth, thus bringing together heaven and earth.   The priestly anointing will speak and bring men unto God, producing peace.  Thirdly, the kingly anointing will speak and rule with authority, producing joy.

As we are joined to King Jesus as His Bride, in that place of intimacy will come forth the Voice of authority of King Jesus.

The Kingdom of God is the extension of God’s rule or dominion in the earth, the universe, in each person, under the earth and eternity

The Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom.  There has never been a time when the Kingdom has not been in existence.  Ps. 145:10-13: “All Your works shall praise You, O Lord; and Your saints shall bless You.  They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your power.  To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of His Kingdom.  Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.”

In each age there is a further revelation or Revealing of the Kingdom of God.  Yes, the generation of the 21st Century has been blessed with awesome visitations and revelations.  However, let us not become puffed up beyond measure.  The Lord has given dominion to His elect throughout all generations.  The Lord has his 7000 in every generation to whom He trusts his dominion.

The Kingdom is presently expressed on the earth through the instrumentality of the Church.  Some are teaching a doctrine that the Church as the Lord’s instrument is passing away in light of the in-bursting of the Kingdom of God.  I personally do not believe the dominion of the Glorious Church (the overcomers) will cease until Jesus comes again and covers the whole earth with His Glory.  I personally believe He will fill His Bride (the overcoming church) with his glory and cover the whole earth in the saints.

Dan.7:27: “The kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.”

In the Old Testament, natural Israel was meant to be the expression of the instrument of the Kingdom of God. Ex. 19:6: “If you will obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is mine.  You shall be to Me a kingdom of priests, a holy nation…”

In the New Testament, spiritual Israel (the church) is to be the expression and instrument of the Kingdom of God, for the church is:

  1. Abraham’s seed (Gal. 6:16; Ro. 2: 28-29; 9: 6-8).
  2. The circumcision (Phil. 3:3).
  3. The Holy Nation Mt. 21: 42-43: “…The stone which the builders rejected, the same has become the head of the corner.  This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.  I say to you, the Kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.  Whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”
  4. The New Jerusalem (Jn. 4: 19-24; Gal. 4: 21-31; Heb. 12:22-24).

Throughout the ages, the instrument changes but the purpose never changes.  There have been sons of the Kingdom in every age; for example:

  1. Adam (Gen. 1: 26-27)
  2. The Patriarchs
  3. Natural Israel (Ex. 19: 1-6)
  4. Jesus of Nazareth
  5. The Church (spiritual Israel).

Jesus spoke of the Kingdom and the Church together. (Mt. 16: 18-19). “…You are Peter, and upon this rock (Jesus is the Christ) I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” The book of Acts relates the Kingdom and the Church to one another

The Church and the Kingdom are related terms, but they are not synonymous terms. (Acts 8: 1-12; 20: 17-28).

The term “Kingdom” is found about 160 times in the New Testament.  The word “church” is found about 115 times in the New Testament.  The Church has no divine direction apart from the purpose of the Kingdom.  The term “Kingdom” denotes God’s purpose.  The term “Church” denotes the present instrument by which that purpose shall be realized.

Thus the Church is the instrument, vehicle, and means of the Kingdom.

Simply speaking, there are two kingdoms in the universe; namely. The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness.

The Kingdom of God                                         The Kingdom of Darkness

Light                                                                                       Darkness

Understanding                                                                        Ignorance

Life                                                                                         Death

Righteousness                                                                        Unrighteousness; iniquity;

                                                                                                Lawlessness.

Peace                                                                                      Turmoil; unrest; anxiety

Joy                                                                                          Sorrow, mourning

Those who know Jesus of Nazareth as LORD have been brought out of their darkness into His marvelous light.  We have passed from death unto life.  We have exchanged our spirits of heaviness for garments of praise.  We understand that the night is far spent and the day is at hand.  We serve God and not mammon.

Those who know Jesus as “Ishi” (husband) will be in the realm of ruling and reigning with the King on earth as it is in heaven.

Hos. 2:20-21: “I will betroth you to me in faithfulness; and you shall know the Lord.  It shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, says the Lord, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth.  The earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel (God sows).  I will sow her to me in the earth…”

There is no difference between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven.  The Kingdom of heaven shows us where it is and the term Kingdom of God shows us who runs it.

The message of the Kingdom will produce a people who are heavenly in culture, in language, in character, in authority, in message and proclamation, and in life style.

Deut. 11:21: “That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord swore to your father to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.”

1 Cor. 15:47-49: “The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.  As is the earthly, such are they also that are earthy; we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.  Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God…”

The ingredients of any kingdom is: A king; territory; citizens; Laws or principles of living; glory or the life-style of the subjects.

We, the citizens of the Kingdom are to take the Kingdom of God to those who are still captives in the Kingdom of darkness.

There is a world-wide battleground and no neutrality.  That is why we cannot come into agreement with the present propaganda of the Kingdom of Darkness.  The battleground is with powers and principalities; and the minds and spirits of men.  We are to spoil the kingdom of darkness.

The invisible universal church is a mystical union in a spiritual Body for the habitation of the Holy Spirit, with Jesus Christ as head.

In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians Jesus is presented as the Head of the church, temple, family, body, wife and army.

The local church is a given locality gathered unto the Lord Jesus Christ under the oversight of the apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers, established and rooted in the principles and doctrine of Christ as we are led by the Holy Spirit.   It is locally governed yet in fellowship with other groups of believers.

The motive of the Kingdom of God is Love.

The principle of Love is giving.  For “God so loved that He gave…” We are to bear the image of the heavenly.  Jesus entered into this higher realm of life and ministry so that we could follow His pattern.

The Kingdom is a present reality…NOW… for us today.  Behold the Kingdom of God is within you.” It is not based upon the natural senses.  We in this Kingdom are not moved by what we see or hear in the realm of circumstances.

The Kingdom comes not with observation. (Lk. 17:20).  The Kingdom is entered by birth. John 3:3:  “Jesus said except a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Mat. 10:7:  As you go preach saying, the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

The Kingdom is a gift.  It is ministered to us abundantly through the mercy, love, and grace of God. (Lk. 12:31-32)  It is marked by violence (Mt. 11:12).  Although the grace of God offers the Kingdom to us, we must conquer with a violent faith and confession.  We must seize the mountain.  “Apprehend that for which we have been apprehended.”

The Kingdom demands perseverance (Lk. 9:62).  It is marked by power.

Mt. 28:18:  “Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world.”

It was the message of the Kingdom of God that Jesus preached.  The Kingdom of God has always been the eternal purpose of God.  Mt. 4:23:  Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Through the present sifting and shaking, it is my persuasion the Lord is bringing forth sons of God of this generation into the image of Christ to be given dominion.  Let us press through and hold on.

John 1:12:  “”As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name; which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

I have read the writings of saints in past generations.  We are not the only generation to pass the golden altar and touch the Glory of God.  Let every man press into it.

When Jesus began his ministry, it was a new age.  Luke 16:16: The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the Kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses into it.”

We have been preaching the Kingdom of God since the time of Jesus.  It is the only gospel he preached.  It is the only gospel the Apostles preached.  The gospel of Jesus Christ and the gospel of the Kingdom of God are one and the same gospel.

Mark 9:1: “Jesus said, ‘there will be some that stand here which shall not taste death until they have seen the Kingdom of God come with power.’”

This scripture is not referring to Christ’s second coming.  This is referring to the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came in power to indwell all men with the Kingdom of God.

Rev. 1:6: “Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father…”

A ministry backed by authority.  The New Testament priesthood of Melchisedec is such a ministry, Jesus the High Priest and a company of priests in His image.  We are kings and priests now but we are also being “made” kings and priests.  This formation of the new creation man will continue until the fullness of a king-priest ministry will be seen in the overcomers as they do press beyond the veil into the holy of Holies (the realm of no limitations), and then roar out of this Zion of God to deliver the creation.

Luke 8:10:  Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing the might not understand.”

Phil. 3:20: “For our conversation is in heaven”.

The Gospel of the Kingdom was preached by Jesus and His disciples.  It is a supernatural gospel ministered by supernatural ministry.  By precept and demonstration, the gospel of the Kingdom which we preach declares Jesus Christ to be Savior and Lord.   Jesus taught the Kingdom in parables.  He designed the parables of the Kingdom to obscure the truth in figurative terms and language from non-disciples who had refused to heed plain talk and the signs of His coming.

The gates of a city throughout the bible point to the power and the strength of that city.  If one possessed the gates of his enemies, he would conquer the whole city.  The importance and strength of gates made them to be viewed as synonymous with power and the strength and the might of those who held governmental positions and those who administered justice in the gates of the city.

The gates of hell will fall before the onslaught of the Church.  We are the temple of God.  Within us are all the gates of New Jerusalem.

Daniel 11:44-45:  In the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all kingdoms and it shall stand forever.  Forasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter.”

Mountains in the bible speak of Kingdoms (Is. 2:2; Mic. 4: 1-2).  This is the Kingdom of God which refers to God’s end-time people who pursue and obtain this high calling.

Ps. 48:1-2: “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.  Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.”

We are called to reign with Christ.  This refers to our living a victorious Christ Life in the now with Christ by rising above problems, circumstances and situations in His enabling through the power of the Blood, our faith and the life-style of the overcomer.

Luke 12:22-31: “Jesus said unto his disciples, “Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat; neither for the body, what you shall put on….; Rather seek you the Kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto.  Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

September 19, 2002:  Dream given to Carolyn Sissom:

I was standing in my pulpit on a platform.  The Lord spoke to me.  He said, “Preach Isaiah 6: 7-10 from the Gospels until Christmas.  Someone moved my pulpit to the center of the platform.  Another lady from Pastor Harold Vincent’s church wrapped a sheer white scarf around my shoulders.  Pastor Vincent was standing beside the pulpit and said, “Carolyn preach the Kingdom of God.”

Luke 9:62: “Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looks back is fit for the Kingdom of God.”
