THE HARVEST
Sunday, October 4, 2009Preached by: Carolyn Sissom Friday night I had a dream of the church. I was at the front of the church looking over the congregation. Half the church was full of young adults dressed in casual jeans, t-shirts, etc. Instantly the other half was filled with young adults dressed in gray uniforms. They were from a Christian Bible school. I was surprised at the number. However, my immediate reaction was, “I better get busy. These young people are here to hear the Word of the Lord. They are serious.” At the conference in Birmingham, Bob Jones prophesied that “one billion young adults are coming in to the Kingdom beginning this year. This Harvest will continue through 2030 and possibly through 2050. He said these young adults will come out of homes where the parents are divorced (possibly multiple partners) and will be part of the alcohol and drug culture. In rebellion against their parents who rebelled against God, this generation will turn to the Lord. They will be drawn to “Wisdom” and will quickly discern that which is real and that which is fake.” The Lord will glorify himself in these one billion youth. “So the last shall be first, and the first last; for many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matt. 20:16) Those whom the Lord will use to minister will be those who have “Wisdom”. The church will have to start mentoring immediately. Matt. 20: 1-6: “For the Kingdom of heaven is like to a man that is a householder, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard. And when he had agreed with the laborers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace. And said to them; go you also into the vineyard and whatsoever is right I will give you, and they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and says to them, Why stand you here all the day idle?They say to him, because no man has hired us. He says to them, Go you also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall you receive.” The number eleven represents the last generation. Forty years is a generation. Woodstock was on 8/15/69-8/18/69. On August 15th of this year, it has been forty years since Woodstock. Many in that generation were lost to the drug culture. Forty years from 8/15/2009 will be 2049. “The Harvest is the end of the world” (Matt. 13:41). Mark 9: 37-38: Then says He to His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.” Zechariah 1: 7-10: These horses are metaphorical of the vehicles for the Lord. These are the Elect in whom He will take the message of the Gospel of Christ to the world. “On the four and 20th day of the eleventh month, which is the month of Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the Word of the Lord to Zechariah…I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white. Then said I, O my Lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said to me, I will show you what these be. And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said these are they whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro through the earth. Red Horse – Those who bring the life of Christ to the Church. White Horse – The firstfruits elect ones in whom He can bring the message to the Church. (The Seven Thunders of God by: Van Tanner) The date in verse 7 is very prophetic of the end time. The number Four (“On the four and 20th day or 24th day) is metaphorical of the end time because the last watch is the fourth watch or the last watch of the world. The number 24 represents elders (wisdom) that must bow down to the will of Christ. the Elect are the covenant of peace. (Chr. 27:1-15) The peacekeepers of the army set over Israel each month were twenty and four thousand. This is a corporate end-time anointing. (S.T.G by: V.T.) Brother Jones stated that this Evangelism will be done one to one. It will be done in personal witness by the saints and not by large meetings as in the day of Billy Graham. He further stated that there will be a separation of the sheep and goat nations as well as sheep and goat people. There will also be a separation of sheep from sheep. Those with wisdom will be given a scepter and will be used of the Lord. The coming year will be a year of “ugly”. I have heard on the media news channels the word “ugly” used multiple times this past week. Bro. Jones said, “Do not put your focus on the ugly”. We will have one year of darkness. In the midst of the darkness, the light of the true church will shine brightly. The Glorious Church will come forth in great power, light, witness and Presence of the Lord. "The church has the answer. For the next three years, get the church ready for increase". Today I did dutifully study to prepare the promised teaching of Romans 2. However, the Lord changed the message to the Harvest. I believe I can rightly apply Romans 2: 3-9 to the message of The Harves. "Think you this, O man, that judge them which do such things, and do the same, that you shall escape the judgment of God? Or despise you the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But after your hardness and impenitent heart treasure up to yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God. Who will rend to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; but to them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentiles; but glory, honor and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile; for there is no respect of persons with God.” In Romans 1, Paul was preaching to the heathen. In Romans 2, he is preaching to the Jews. The purpose of any judgment is to let the past determine the future. Our sin is covered at Calvary. Christians receives the “righteousness of God”, by faith and are equipped to enter heaven. The sinner because he refuses God’s righteousness, dies in his sin. The Christian is judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5:10). “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest to God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.” Romans 2:16: In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.” When men stand before God on judgment day, the One behind the bench will be Jesus. According to Paul’s gospel, Jesus was One who would “bring to light the hidden things of darkness” and make manifest the counsels of the heart. (John 5:22: “For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son.” The unsaved are judged at the Great White Throne (Rev. 20: 11-15). “The term “firstfruits’ comes from the harvest. The firstfruits are a group of people who are the first return of the Harvest. God has chosen this group of the Elect to bring the message to the Church and the world. The 144,000 can be compared to the apostles (144,000 divided by the 12 = 12,000, which is the called the portion of Jacob). James 1:18: Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of Firstfruits of his creatures. 1 Cor. 15: 20: but now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 23: but every man in his own order; Christ the firstfruits, afterward they that are Christ’s at his appearing.” He chose them and quickened the Revelation to them so they could be the apostolic beginning for the book of Revelation. According to 1 Cor. 15:23, the firstfruits are the first to rise during the end time resurrection. Rom. 8:23: And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves waiting for the adoption, to wit the redemption of our body.” According to the time-line of this word, there is now a gathering of the 144,000. This elect company of saints are the apostles and prophets who will usher in the tribulation time. They have already faced their personal tribulations, vials, seals, etc. in advance of this time and are prepared as spotless Saints. They are the prophetic vessels in which the Glory of God will speak to the world. Because I have personally experienced by vision and experience tribulations that brought me into the Presence of the Lord, I understand this Word. According to Bro. Van Tanner, the tribulation will not begin until about the half hour of the 7th Seal. 11 Thess. 2: 7-8: “for the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” I believe I have received my instructions in the dream I had two nights ago. The Lord named us the Eastgate in 1990. Rev. 7:2: And I saw another angel ascending from the east. Ascending from the east represents the spiritual ascension of this group as they enter (east) into the presence of Christ. These end-time messengers will by their message “hurt” carnality wherever it is in the heart (sea) of the church and world. You can say, "Carolyn that is presumption". No, it has been nineteen years of vision, revelation and preparation by the Lord. The Elect must be ready before the time of the great tribulation. The prophets say we are coming into that time. Let us get busy winning souls into the Kingdom one person at a time. The Lord is bringing forth the manifest Sons of God and Daughters of God (both are the same). They are the Firstfruits company, who are called the 144,000 in Rev. 14:4 and reveal Christ to the church and the World. They are the ones who will show the world that dying to self is the process to which Christ in us can be revealed. Tonight I will continue with my notes from Bob. Jones.
