Romans 15:29

“The Blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and He adds no sorrow with it.”

(Prov. 10:22)

Carolyn wherever you go I want you to prophesy and declare financial blessings and prosperity to My people.” (April 30, 2011)

According to the political pundits of the world system, we are in a depression in this nation.  However, as Christians our Kingdom is not of this world.

John 18:36-37: “Jesus answered:  ‘My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from this world.  Pilate (political spirit of this world) said unto him.  Are you a king?  Jesus answered.  You say that I am a king.  To this end was I born, and for this cause I came into this world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.  Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.”

Luke 22:29: I appoint unto you a Kingdom as my Father has appointed unto me.”

Jesus said in John 3:3:  Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.

The Gospel of Christ is the good tidings of the Kingdom of God.  Jesus the Messiah is the King and founder of this kingdom.  Jesus preached this gospel.  Mark 1: 14-15:  “After John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God.  Saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the gospel.”

This was not a future Kingdom that was set up after His death and resurrection.  When He began to preach, His Kingdom was established.

The Lord’s Messianic rank as King and Priest was proven by his words, his deeds, and his death.

Mt. 9:35: “Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the Kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”

BLESSING OF THE GOSPEL:

  1. Strong 1293: Source of blessing, benediction of righteous men, invocation of good, prosperity, praise of God, a gift, present, treaty of peace.”
  2. Strong 2129: “praise of Christ or God, invocation of blessing, benediction, consecration, benefit.

PROSPERITY:

  1. Strong 7965:  “completeness (in number), safety, soundness (in body); welfare, health; peace, quiet, tranquility, contentment, friendship, and peace in human relationships and with God especially in covenant relationship.  Peace from war; whole; entire; of body; healthy; sound.

Financial Prosperity is not in New Testament as such.  However, I believe this means riches.  The Lord blessed David with prosperity.  Ps. 30:6: “And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

RICHES:

  1. Strong 4149: “riches, wealth, abundance of external possessions, fullness, plenitude; that with which one is enriched.”
  2. Strong 2896: “good, pleasant, agreeable to the senses and to the higher nature.  Excellent (of its kind); valuable in estimation; appropriate; becoming; better (comparative); glad; happy prosperous (of man’s sensuous nature); good understanding ( of man’s intellectual nature); good,\;  kind; benign, right; ethical; prosperity;  happiness; benefit; moral good; bounty.

Phil. 4:19:  “but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

2 Cr. 8:2: “How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.”

LIBERALITY:

  1. Strong 572:  “not self-seeking, openness of heart manifesting itself by generosity; singleness; simplicity; sincerity; mental honesty; the virtue of one who is free from pretence and hypocrisy.

2 Cor. (9:11) “Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness which causes through us thanksgiving to God.”

1 Ti. 6:17:  “Charge them that are rich in this world that they be not high minded nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.”

Hebrews 11:26: “Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.” Reward means payment of wages due.

How will we receive this blessing as we watch the world systems and creation shake? (Mark 13:25: “And the stars of heaven shall fall and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.”)

Eph. 1: 18-21:  “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know What the hope of His calling is, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believes, according to the working of his mighty power.  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.  Far above all principality, and power, and might and dominion and every name that is named not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:  and has put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things to the church which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.”

POWER OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST:

This power is the dunamis power of the Gospel (#1411) – “inherent power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature of which a person or thing exerts and puts forth.  Power for performing miracles.  Moral power and excellence of soul.  The power and influence which belong to riches and wealth.  Power and resources arising from numbers.  Power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces, hosts.

It is one thing to see the plan of God, quite another to live it.  That takes power.  Paul’s prayer includes a request for this divine energy enabling the believer to (1) live a holy life in an unholy world; (2) stand fast against the cunning assaults of the devil; (3) All of these require the same dunamis power which raised the Lord to glory.  Jesus’ seated at the “right hand” bespeaks His absolute authority and power over the spirit world and world systems.  (Mt. 26:64)

Mark 9:39:  Jesus said, " There is no one who shall perform a miracle in My name, and be able soon afterward to speak evil of Me."  All who profane the name of Jesus will not operate in the dunamis power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom... Repent the Kingdom of God is at hand.

We literally become partakers of (1) the life, (2) the power, (3) the program, (4) blessing, (5) inheritance, and the eternal destiny of Jesus Himself.  His own past, present and future is as closely joined to us as our own head is to our body.

This mighty dunamis power exalted Christ over and above all government, authorities, powers and lordships, and every name that is known, not only in this world but also in the one to come.  Everything has been placed under the dominion of Christ.  And God has given to Him and to us (His body) the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Paul said to the Romans, I shall come to you in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:29)

This fullness of blessing includes the same dunamis power that supernaturally strengthened Paul and the other Apostles to preach and demonstrate the power of the Gospel of Christ.

Rev. 12: 10-12:  “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation and strength and the Kingdom of our God, and the Power of his Christ; for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  Therefore rejoice you heavens, and you that dwell in them.  Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath because he knows that he has but a short time.”

Daniel 6: 26-27: “I make a decree, that in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; for he is the living God, and steadfast for ever, and  his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. He delivers and rescues and he works signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.”

We are preparing ourselves spiritually for the July Big White Tent Revival.  The Lord gave us the purpose, “The Blessing and Prosperity of the Lord.  Proverbs 10:22.  The blessing of the Lord, it makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.”  The warfare of this conference is to break off the stronghold of charlatans and profiteers who abuse the Gospel of Christ for unrighteous gain.  It is also to break the power of the charlatans and profiteers in the world systems for unrighteous gain.

This fullness of blessing is for the Lord’s people.   John 3:5:  “Jesus answered, verily, verily; I say unto you, Except a man is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit”

Mt. 7:22:  “21-23:  Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to Me. On that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your Name?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me; you that work iniquity.”
