"THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH SHALL POSSESS THE KINGDOM"
THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH SHALL POSSESS THE KINGDOM
Daniel 7:18; 21-22; 25-27
By: Pastor Carolyn Sissom
Daniel 7:18: “The saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.”
Daniel 7:21-22: “I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them, until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.”
Daniel 7:25-27: “He shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”
I am Carolyn Sissom and I live, move and have my being in the everlasting Kingdom of God. I possess the kingdom now and for ever, even for ever and ever. I am blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed all of us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
Not just me, but all saints who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; in whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. We possess the Kingdom of God now.
Eph. 1: 19-23: “What is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. He has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.”
I have taught, preached and even understood Daniel 7: 15-28 (See teaching of Daniel 7 in Bible Study’s on website, (page 2) www.eastgateministries.com) to be a future time of great persecution of the church during the fourth and fifth world empires (as described in Daniel 7) prior to the second coming of Christ.
This is true! However, last week I saw this scripture in the light of the truth that we the saints now possess the Kingdom of God. We now have the greatness of the kingdom and dominion.
Yes, of course I knew this! But that reality means that I also have authority over the spirit of anti-Christ to not wear me out and to not wear out other saints. This authority is not future, but is a present truth.
Daniel 7: 17-19 reveals that the saints will be given their authority during the time of the fourth beast. Rome was the fourth beast in Daniel’s vision.
Jesus was born in to this world in the age of Rome. The past 2013 years is the age of the Gospel Church (the establishing of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven), the period in which all humankind can be delivered by the blood of Jesus Christ. That is our assignment is to “seek ye first the Kingdom of God”. Jesus’ Kingdom is the stone cut out of the mountain without hands, and has broken to pieces all of the other kingdoms. (Daniel 2:44-45) “And in the days of these kings shall the God of Heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”
Matthew 11:12: “From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.”
Violent means strong, forceful, utmost eagerness and effort.
All power in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus Christ and to His Body, the church. This is not future at the time of the second coming, but was given to the church at the time of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
This past year there has been an aggressive attack against the saints of the Most High to wear us out. If you look around, ministers are retiring early, going on sabbatical, and often despairing of continuing to fight the good fight of faith. Many who have stood strong and fought well are discouraged at the lukewarm, apostasy, materialism, greed, and lasciviousness of the churches. The federal government has violated the separation of church and state even to the point of trying to enforce what we can and cannot preach from our pulpits. People are fearful to stand with Christians for their right of freedom of religion because it is not politically correct to preach the Word of God concerning Sodomy and Homosexuality.
People with government jobs are fearful to speak out concerning their faith or in opposition to the anti-Christian policies of this administration.
Our government has stripped our public gatherings, schools and military of prayer and of speaking in the name of Jesus. What was once the solemn assemblies of many of the Christian churches have become so politically correct that they no longer worship and preach the one true God.
The present administration is aligning its foreign policy with Russia, Iran, Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood. The leaders of this administration have betrayed our allies including Israel, and the Christian nations of Europe to promote the agenda of Islam.
Jude wrote, 1:3-4: “Beloved I gave all diligence to write to you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Certain men crept in unaware, who were ungodly men turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Recently while I was in Wales, the Lord spoke to me that, “Wales was a sheep nation”. It came to me that if Wales has been separated to the right hand of God as a sheep nation, then the Lord has begun to separate the nations.
Mt. 25: 31-34: “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory; and before him shall be gathered all nations; and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats and he shall set the sheep on their right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
Daniel 7: 9-10: “I, beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool; His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him; thousand thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him; the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”
Since the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, the remnant church has been experiencing waves of visitations of the Glory of God. We have had many manifestations and visitations of Jesus in the golden glory signs and wonders revival as well as clouds of glory in our services.
I thought the year 2000 would be the beginning of the breaking forth of the glory of God that would cover the whole earth. However, the warfare was fierce and the progress has seemed very slow. Now in retrospect, I believe it was the beginning.
The Lord spoke to me in the year 2000 that wherever I went I was to declare the Glory of God. He showed me that I have a glory angel who walks with me.
There have been great battles, strong holds, and powers and principalities both in the churches and the world that have withstood the Glory. As has always been the case, the egos of mankind seek to control and have pre-eminence over the Kingdom of God for their own glory and pocket book.
Satan has fought hard that these scriptures will not come to pass that the saints of God will possess the Kingdom. But he cannot do it. It is sovereign and it will come to pass as it is written: “The kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Dan. 7:11-14: I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke; I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion take away; yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. I saw in the night visions and behold one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him near before Him. And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom that all people, nations and languages, should serve Him; His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”
From the horror of the horned beast, Daniel was turned to the solemn splendor of the heavenly court. There sat one Ancient of Days, venerable, entirely pure purging and consuming wrong. Knowing all that had passed in history, and all that He has ordained for the future, He is qualified to judge the latest upstart as He had judged others before. Judicial authority was displayed in the river of fire, and the requisite power in the innumerable thousands at His call. Beside the Judge were various thrones set in place.
Before this court the books recording the deeds of the accused were opened. (Heavenly records of human activities are alluded to by many ancient writings).
Could it be that The Heavenly Court has been convened to judge the nations.
Contrasting with the beasts which were inherently hostile to God, stood this visionary figure, like a human being. That would be Jesus. Daniel saw a human being (Jesus – one like the Son of Man) in the place of God’s justice. This figure came with the clouds of heaven. The clouds of heaven are the glorified saints who have passed on into Heaven before the living.
Daniel was greatly alarmed by what he saw and was determined to fully understand the full importance of this terrifying message. In the midst of his distress he received a reassuring promise from an angel who, in bold affirmation of God’s sovereign control over the affairs of men and empires loudly declared, “But the high holy ones of the Highest One will receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever; for all ages to come.”
Satan’s assignment is to wear out the saints and cause us to not apprehend these promises so we will back off from the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
This is the assignment against the saints and the ministries of the church during this season as it has been since the time of the fourth beast, the Roman Empire.
Mt. 11: 11-12: “Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist; notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. From the days of John the Baptist until the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”
7: 15-16: “I, Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. I came near to one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this, so he told me and made me know the interpretation of the things.
We know from history that what Daniel prophesied in these verses has not yet taken place. For no king has yet arisen who has ever devoured the whole earth, trodden it down, crushed it, ruled for three and a half years, and after this time been destroyed by the Messiah, ruling and reigning over His earthly kingdom…
However, from the time of the fourth kingdom (during which time Jesus was born) through the fifth kingdom in Daniel 7, this promise is repeated four times in the face of each world power since the birth of Jesus. This is not a one time end-time promise, but the position of the saints in Christ against every anti-christ world power from the time of the crucifixion of Christ.
7:22: “The time came that the saints possessed the Kingdom”.
7:20: “He shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given unto his hand until time and times and the dividing of time.”
The antichrist will try to change the set times and the laws. He will dislike the present name of our era, A.D. or “Anno domini,” which means “The year of the Lord.” Thus he will loath to hear words like A.D. 2013 because is means “the year of the Lord 2013”, a year in the era whose beginning is Jesus Christ. He will also change laws in order to place himself at the center of law, and he will institute a new era. The present administration has made it perfectly clear that their agenda is to over-turn the U.S. constitution, our Christian heritage and the democracy.
We have seen this manifestation in the Jaguar, who has the spirit of antichrist.
He said that “In God we trust is no longer our national motto”. He tried to declare that “E Pluribus Unum” (e pluri bu su num) which means “from many one”, as our national motto. When congress wrote a resolution confirming “In God we Trust”, he mocked congress.
7:20b: “…”Of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.” The word for stout here is “power”. I would also conclude it means “intimidating”. Another reason why saints must not be intimidated by any one.
7:21-22: I beheld and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.”
7:26: “But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end.
It is my persuasion that beginning in May 2013, the dominion of the Jaguar has been rendered impotent by God in the United States as well as he has been rendered impotent in the nations of the world.
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him. So far is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.”
The Lord has given the saints authority and dominion. We have already entered into the everlasting kingdom.
