THE UNLIMITED SUPPLY (4 x 100)

THE UNLIMITED SUPPLY 4 x 100

Ezra 7:21-22

Pastor Carolyn Sissom

Jesus the King through the prophetic voice of King Artaxerxes decreed and “loosed” the finances on this side of the river (earth) for that which the priesthood does require!  This is unto the (unlimited realm) of:

  1. 100 talents of silver ---unlimited redemption.
  2. 100 measures of wheat – unlimited Word of God.
  3. 100 baths of wine – unlimited Joy of the Lord. (New wine – fresh outpouring of the Spirit; intoxicates, no inhibitions, easy communications; joy; boldness.
  4. 100 baths of oil and salt – unlimited Spirit of God (oil=anointing; salt=preserves, purifies; gives taste; irritates (convicts); creates a thirst.

This is the 100-fold principle of Matt. 13:23.  The total = 400 made up of 4 x 100 reveals the principles for God’s whole creation.

Ezra 7:21-22: “I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasures which are beyond the river, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, be it done speedily:

We are watching as the stock market plunges, oil prices plummet, 401K’s and other retirements loosing value, job losses and real estate values decline.  We, the church have been called out of the world system into the realm of faith.  In my lifetime, I have seen the economy go up and down.  But my economy is in Heaven, the Word of God and the provision of my inheritance as the Bride of Christ.

Jesus has gone beyond the veil as forerunner into fullness of life and ministry.  He has gone into the Holy of Holies which is the realm of unlimited anointing in the life and presence of God in fullness.  (Heb. 6: 19-20; 9:24; 10: 19-22).

Hebrews 11 faith is in part and brings a good report.  We can die with it and not obtain the promise.  Hebrews 12 faith is faith in fullness and makes itself of no reputation.  We can conquer death with it and obtain all the promises of the Old and New Testament of which we are the heirs.

The ministry of Ezra (priest) and Nehemiah (King) are a type and shadow of the King-Priest ministry.  God has always wanted in His people a Kingdom of Priests.  The “king” denotes authority and the “priest” denotes ministry.  Jesus is the High Priest and King with a company of kings and priests in His image.  We are kings and priests now, but we are also being “made” kings and priests.  This formation of the new creation man will continue until the fullness of a king-priest ministry will be seen in the overcomers as we press beyond the veil into the Holy of Holies (the realm of no limitations), and then roar out of this Zion of God to deliver the creation.

Last week, we spoke of Mount Zaphon in Syria not only as symbolic of the kingdom of the anti-Christ, but a power center of ISIS.    Mountains in the Bible speak of kingdoms.  The mountain of the House of the Lord is the high place of God or the Zion of God which refers to God’s end-time people who pursue and obtain this high calling.

Mount Zion in a general sense represents the whole Church.  The Church is the New Jerusalem, and a city which is set upon a hill.  In a more specific sense Mount Zion represents the overcomers in the Church who sit with Christ in the throne, sharing His government.

Zion means “the mountain of light” and speaks of the 100-fold.

The local assembly is the visible aspect of the church, whereas the universal Body is the invisible aspect of His Church.  The word “church” is in the New Testament over 100 times and 90% of those references are to a specific local body.

Jesus is head over the Church.  All the promises of all the covenants were made to Jesus.  All the promises of all the covenants were fulfilled in Jesus.  He has received all things at the hand of the Father.  We are joint-heirs of all things.

Ezra 7:15-20: “…according to the law of your God which is in your hand; carry the silver and gold, which the king and his counselors have freely offered to the God of Israel…all the silver and gold that you find in the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willing for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem…(Vs 20) whatsoever shall be needful for the house of your God…bestow it out of the king’s treasure house.

Jesus was appointed heir of all things, and we are joint heirs with Christ.  We are born again into a family inheritance.  We are a partaker with the covenants to the Old Testament saints because Jesus has died and left us His will (The New Testament or New Covenant).

It is my persuasion that the pattern and principles of New Testament divine order are still as relevant to the church of the 21st century as it was in the Book of Acts.  Some have taken it upon themselves to create a new order.

Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it(Psa. 127:1).

The Lord has set into the church, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, bishops, deacons, administrators and servants. (1 Cor. 12:28; Acts 10:28; Phil 1:1; 1 Tim 3:2, etc.)  The Lord Jesus Christ was a servant and as a pastor, I consider myself a servant of the Lord.

The Apostle is one who is sent forth as a messenger and is fully authorized to represent the name he bears.  The apostles are commonly referred to as God’s authority.  This is commonly referred to as part of the HAND ministry for the five-fold ministry and for the HAND OF GOD.

  1. Jesus the Apostle ---    Governing – Heb. 3:1
  2. Jesus the Prophet –     Guiding – John 4:19
  3. Jesus the Evangelist – Gathering – Luke 4:18
  4. Jesus the Pastor –       Guarding  John 10:11
  5. Jesus the Teacher –    Grounding – John 3:2.

The song of the overcoming, triumphant church on earth joins with the mighty multitude of the redeemed of both the Old and New Testament saints---a united Church.  The glorious company of apostles, the godly fellowship of prophets, and the noble army of martyrs are gathered to sing the song of deliverance for the encouragement of the drooping and faint-hearted, who are still struggling in the conflict, or buffeting the storms.

Jesus is made a High Priest after the order (manner) of Melchisedec.  This is a priesthood of prophets, priests, and kings.  A New Testament order of priesthood is a royal priesthood that is eternal, has put away sin, that is for all nations, and is energized by the power of an endless life.

Many of the people of the United States have come into agreement with national sin.  The apostasy of the nation and the people come as a result of many individuals committing their own sins.  National repentance and revival will come as each individual deals with his own individual sin, just as if he were the only sinner.

I believe there is an emerging overcoming church who will not come into agreement with the sins of this nation.

Our Tuesday morning group has been studying the Book of Ezra. The HAND ministry and the “house of the God of heaven” is beautifully established in Ezra 7.

The principle of Zerubbabel and Jeshua, and the ministry of Nehemiah (civil governor) and Ezra (priesthood) are types of the King-Priest principle (apostle and prophet).   The Hand of the Lord is revealed in power and wisdom as the Good Hand of the Lord was upon Ezra.

Ezra 7:6: “The Lord granted Ezra all his requests according to the hand of the Lord His God upon him.”

The Lord spoke through King Artaxerxes to Ezra giving this authority and blessing to the “house of the God of heaven.”  I am persuaded that King Artaxerxes’ declaration is a prophetic proclamation for the Church.  The Lord dwells in the praises of his people.  His house is in the saints through the Blood of Jesus who sits at the “right hand of God”.

Ezra 7: 23-24: “Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven; for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons?   Also we certify to you that touching any of the priests, Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or minister of this house of God, it shall be unlawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them.  And you Ezra, after the wisdom of your God, that is in your hand. Set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of your God; and teach them who do not know.”

The “house of the God of heaven” is another New Testament term for the Church as the sanctuary, and the temple, and the dwelling-place of God.  This building of God is a habitation of God through the Spirit and a spiritual house or abode not made with hands.

This “wisdom of your God” (Vs. 25) is the wisdom “from above” - - supreme intelligence such as belongs to God and given as a gift to those whom the Holy Spirit chooses.  The wisdom of God as evinced in forming and executing counsels in the formation and government of the world and the scriptures.

James 3:17:

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

The word for “hand” means “power”.  The Word and Wisdom of God was in the hand of Ezra.  There are blessings to submitting to the five-fold ministry of Eph. 4:11 metaphorically described as the “Hand” ministry---the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher – who are set into their office, and empowered by the Hand of God, not the hand of man.

The power, wisdom, consecration, direction, and presence of the Lord’s HAND is manifest on Ezra/Nehemiah for the work the Lord God commissioned them to do.

  1. Ezra 7:6: -  Answered prayer.
  2. Ezra 7:9 -   Moving out of confusion and into peace.
  3. Ezra 7:28 – Strength to assemble in the day of restoration.
  4. Ezra 8:22 – Goodness and protection.
  5. Ezra 8:18 – Wisdom and understanding.
  6. Ezra 8:31 – Deliverance from the enemy.
  7. Neh. 1:10 – Great power
  8. Neh. 2:8   -  Supply to meet the need – unlimited supply.

      9.  Neh. 2:18 -  Ability to move others to action.

Rom. 9:27-28: “”Isaiah also cries concerning Israel.  Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved.  For He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.”

The realm of 100-fold proceeds from the Holy of Holies:

1.     Blessings of the High Priest (promises to Ezra).

  1. Fullness of the Holy Spirit and fullness of our inheritance as joint-heirs with Jesus Christ.
  2. Divine life---first fruits of the harvest.
  3. Watchmen.
  4. Man-child.
  5. Worshippers
  6. Come out of Egypt, go through the Wilderness and enter the land.

Mount Zion, the house of God, the Temple, New Jerusalem all signify the Church,  a spiritual body of believers who are called out from the world system.  It is not a building, or a sect; social club, or an organization, but a living organism.

7:18-20: “Whatsoever shall seem good to you, and to your brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, that do after the will of your God.  The vessels also that are given you for the service of the house of your God, those deliver you before the God of Jerusalem.  Whatsoever more shall be needful for the house of your God, which you shall have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king’s treasure house.”

God can put things into men’s hearts which would not arise there of themselves, and into their heads too, both by his providence, and by his grace, in things pertaining both to life and godliness.  If any good appear to be in our own hearts, or in the hearts of others, we must give the glory to God who put it there, and bless Him for it.  When government leaders act for the suppression of vice, and the encouragement of religion, we must thank God who put it into their hearts to do so.

Ezra 7:28:

“And I was strengthened as the HAND of the Lord my God was upon me and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.”

For all who follow after the Lord and called into the ministry, we have one testimony and one testimony only of the grace, wisdom and strength on our life.  “I was strengthened to undertake the services as the hand of the Lord my God was upon me, to direct me and support me.”  If this is not so, then we all fall.

The Christian walk is a life of constant change.  To live is to be ever growing.  To grow is to change.  We are progressively maturing into the full stature of Jesus.  Like our Elder brother, we are called to be forerunners always running forward, going in advance; those who are sent to take observations; acting as scouts; watchmen; one sent before a king to see that the way is prepared.

Ezra 8:22: “…The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek Him; but His power and His wrath is against all them that forsake Him”.

I will not close this message without rejoicing that the four American hostages in Iran have been released.   Regardless of how great the cost will be to Americans and the role of terrorists in the future, if these men were are sons, fathers and husbands, we would be grateful to God for their release.

I do not minimize the apparent selling out of the soul of our nation to release these four men or for the way the ten American sailors were shamed before the world.  I believe “Civil” and “Spiritual” authority for nations has been given to the Church through the power of the Kingdom of God over all nations.

I know that through the power of the Word of God, prayer, the Blood of Jesus and the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, and our rock solid faith in that power, that good will overcome evil.  Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith that began at conversion.

Our faith inheritance is in the realm of the 100-fold x 4 and makes itself of no reputation.  We can conquer death with it and obtain all the promises of the Old and New Testament of which we are the heirs.
