“Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spoke came by: unto whom he said, “Ho, such a one! Turn aside, sit down her.’ And he turned aside and sat down.”

Boaz went “up” ( ascension) to the “Gate” (of the city.)  The Lord Jesus Christ finished His work in His Ascension and exaltation (the throne of God).  The ascension “finished” the transaction.  We died, and were buried, rose again and ascended with Him.  Boaz sat down.  This chapter is a revelation of obtaining the throne rights of possession to all things in heaven, and in earth, and under the earth.

The Gate was the Center of the life of the city (Throne),

1 Kings 22:10:  “And the King of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.”

11 Samuel 15:2: And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment.

Jeremiah 38:7 The King was sitting at the gate of Benjamin when Jeremiah was put in the dungeon.

Ruth 10:  “Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance that the name of the dead is not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place.  You are witnesses. This day.

Jesus redeemed the Greek (all nations).  “Purchased” means to buy or procure as an addition to the possession.”  This Bride is to produce a son who will perpetuate the inheritance (or promise) so that the Name of the dead is not “Cut off”.  The Word “Gate” means “an opening door:” and reveals the principle of the throne.

This is the covenant blessing to Abraham.  “That in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying, I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

The word “Place” “from the gate of his place”, also reveals the throne concept.

The concept of Gate, Place, and Witness is in three dimensions in the book of Ruth.  Jesus fulfilled all the Covenants and perpetuated the name or nature of Jehovah in the earth.  The Overcomer, His Son, shall prolong (or continue) the name of Jesus in the earth.  The Throne (or Ark) of God (His government and Kingdom) shall be restored and established (the raising up again of the Tabernacle of David) through the man child born to Ruth (the Woman, the Church).  Jesus ascended to the Gate or the throne and finished the transaction that obtained all things (in the presence of the Elders and the People of Rev. 1-5 and Heb. 11-12)!  In like manner, this man child (the overcomer of Rev. 2-3; the firstfuits Company (or Joseph Company), the 144,000, Joel’s army is “caught up” unto God, and to His Throne like the pattern Son. (Rom 8:29).  We are amphitheatred about with a great cloud of witnesses, and “they, without (apart from) us, should not be made perfect.

All that were in and around the gate (throne) blesses Boaz.  The Church comes into the Kingdom.  “Rachel ("ewe") and “Leah” (“weary”) are the two covenants that did build the whole house of Israel.  The Israel of God is one covenant people from throughout the ages.  Leah (law) and Rachel (Grace) accomplished this.  We are living in the extremities of that one covenant purpose.

In Bobby Conner’s book, Altar of Incense, he describes a vision given to Him of the Gate to the Throne of God.  The Lord told him it was the Gateway to God’s True Glory.

Page 16:  “I was “caught up” before the throne of God and saw many of the things that our prayers accomplish in heaven…Suddenly without warning I was transported by the Spirit of God, into the heavenly realm.  I stood in front of an incredibly huge ancient door.  It appeared to be made of heavy brass or a burnt bronze type of metal.  The ancient door seemed to be locked and it was as though it had not been opened for along time, if ever.

I stood directly in front of this gigantic door which had a sling shot type keyhole in the middle.  A firm voice spoke over my left shoulder, “Open this door!”  I answered in a shaky voice, “I am sorry but I do not have a key and it is locked.”  Then a second time, even more firmly than before I was instructed, “Open this door!”  I responded again with even more uncertainty, “But I do not have the key.”

I was shocked at His response.  He said, “You are the key!”  Extend your left hand and put it into the keyhole” As I extended my hand it slid easily into the lock.  “Turn your hand to the right.”  I was surprised how easily, almost effortless, the lock turned.  It rotated and released.  I heard the sound of a heavy thud with a click, and the door was suddenly unlocked and cracked opened, but only a small bit.

Page 18 – I will read tonight from the book the full vision of the Gateway to God’s True Glory and the throne of the Ancient of Days given to Bobby Conner.
