THERE IS NO DEFEAT IN JESUS

THERE IS NO DEFEAT IN JESUS

It is by grace in my journey of life that I am a “Watcher of God.”  I am a “listener to what the “Spirit says to the churches.”  That does not make me more super-spiritual than others in the Body of Christ.  That is just who I am, take me or leave me.  I will be polite to the voice of flesh, but I don’t give place to it.  Neither does that make me the LORD’s most skilled “listener.”  But whatever the measure of the gift of Faith given to me, it is what it is.  When I preach, you will never hear that whatever we face as a people that we will be overcome with evil, disaster, trials and tribulation.  That is not to say that we as a people will not have to go through all of the above.  We will, if we stay in this world long enough.

I grew up in a generation who were taught to not accept defeat or to ever stop pushing forward into life and all of life’s adversities.  I watched my parents overcome the 2nd world war, turn stumps and swamp land into rich farm land.  I watched them struggle through floods, droughts, loss and sickness.  I never once saw them back up, slack up or sit down.  By faith I know from life experiences, THERE IS NO DEFEAT IN JESUS.  That is the message I must preach to angels, demons, and those to whom I am sent.

Rom 12:2 -8:  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.  For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function.  So, we being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

If this Word of God were alive within us, there would be no strife, division, or debating over doctrine, callings, or the gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit.  People have yet to reach the maturity to understand and receive other people’s gifts and callings which differ from their own.  Preach and minister the gift of grace given to you and don’t judge others who do not carry your gift of grace.

Those who embrace their faith-walk must expect to meet with enemies in a world whose smiles seldom agree with Christ’s.  Recompense to no man evil for evil.  That is a brutish recompense, befitting only animals.  Even our pets treat people better than that.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay says the Lord.

In honor give preference to one another.  None of us have the “last word” or the “only word.”  The written Word of God has been here for thousands of years.  Often the LORD will give me a revelation which I have not seen before.  However, over these thousands of years, do not doubt he has also given that revelation to others.  It is the same Word.  It does not change what it meant in history, what it means now and what it will mean in the future.

The LORD directed me through a dream to study the plagues of the Bible in the Book of Numbers; and how the LORD directed healing and deliverance.

Last Tuesday, I was teaching on the plague of Baal-Peor which came on the Israelites because of their sin of rebellion, sexual immorality, and worshipping other gods on the mount of Baal-Peor.  The Priesthood was given the authority over plagues in Numbers 8:19.

In Numbers 25:1-18, Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron took his Javelin and brought judgment on the leaders (prince and princess) of the sexual revolution by the second generation in the wilderness.

Wednesday night at prayer, the anointing and authority came to raise the spiritual Javelin as a prophetic act and thrust it into the prostitution of the gospel, prostitution of our government and the sexual immorality in the younger generations of our nation.  We have generations upon the earth who do not defend and honor God.

2Pe 2:14 -17: Having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Numbers 25: 1-18 – deals with the grievous sin with Baal-Peor.  Balaam advised the Midianite rulers to use their women in a deliberate plot to entangle the Israelites in immorality so as to bring the disfavor of God.  What Balaam could not accomplish by cursing, he attempted by seduction.

Kathie Walters picked up one of my posts about the Javelin and reposted it.  In the process, she ran across an interview of Bobby Connor by Paul Keith Davis.  Brother Connor received a visitation of a Mighty Angel and he gave Brother Connor the spear of Phinehas.  On the same morning, this same angel came to Prophet Bob Jones and told him he was delivering the javelin to Bobby Conner.   Brother Bobby describes the anointing of the spear as the Holy jealousy of God that stops the evil in the land and stopped the wrath of God against the Israelites.

I did not see the Angel of the javelin; but I knew the power and authority of the Spirit was on the Word to take the spiritual javelin and raise it in faith.  This Word is part of that spiritual javelin.

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Take all the leaders of the people and hang the offenders before the LORD, out in the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may turn away from Israel.” So, Moses said to the judges of Israel, “Every one of you kill his men who were joined to Baal of Peor.” And indeed, one of the children of Israel came and presented to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

Now when Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose from among the congregation and took a javelin in his hand; and he went after the man of Israel into the tent and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her body. So, the plague was stopped among the children of Israel; And those who died in the plague were twenty-four thousand.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned back My wrath from the children of Israel, because he was zealous with My zeal among them, so that I did not consume the children of Israel in My zeal. ‘Therefore say, ‘Behold, I give to him My covenant of peace;’

Numbers 22-25 is the story of the sin of the prophet Balaam who led the Israelites into a doctrine of error.

Balaam was a prophet of the Lord who sought to prostitute his prophetic gift for personal gain.

  1.  The error of Balaam – prophesying for wages. Jude 1:11: Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah
  2. The doctrine of Balaam – casting stumbling blocks: Rev 2:14 - I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
  3. The way of Balaam – loving unrighteousness:  2Pe 2:15: They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness.

Now this is really bad to be condemned three times in the New Testament.  This should put the fear of God into every prophet.  The error of Balaam becomes a doctrine which becomes a way of life.

There must be a Phinehas anointing arise in the earth in order to break the power of all that is coming on the earth.  There must be a Holy zeal for the Lord.  There must be Holiness before the Church will have power and authority.  The church should be out in front of this Coronavirus plague.

Some are saying, “it is great that the large churches are closing, now we will be like the Acts church and have church in our homes.”  The Acts church’s power and authority was not because they met in homes, it was because of their holiness and zeal for the honor of God and His Son, Jesus Christ.  It was because of their great joy to receive the Holy Spirit of God as the presence of Jesus in their lives.

Romans 12:9-12: Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.  Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

In honor giving preference to one another:  This is respect for one another.  All our duty towards one another is summed up in one word, love.  Because we love God, we will love those who he loves.  He is honored by our hope and trust in Him, especially when we rejoice in that hope.  The LORD is served, not only by working for him, but by trusting Him through all of life’s challenges.  Those that rejoice in hope, are likely to be patient in tribulation.

Christian don’t bow to fear.  This is a test.  Are we ready to receive and carry a move of God that will bring in the lost and the fearful?  Christian if we are afraid, where is the light in the earth?   In this time when so many are out of work, not trusting our government, not knowing what will happen to their savings or investments, we have this confidence that our provision, and life is secure in Christ.

“Yes, the virus is real, but greatly exaggerated and being exploited by leaders and the elite in government and business.  Bring every thought into captivity and upgrade your trust in God and what He is doing.

Christians we must sow into those who are in our sphere of influence who are needy.  We must not hoard, but continue to release from our hand freely. “Hoarders will not be rewarded, but stewards will.”   The principle of giving in times of crisis and financial stress is a form of warfare.  Satan cannot put fear on us about our finances if we are giving freely to the LORD.  The Lord will rebuke the devourer for us because of our FAITH in him; not our fear of need.

Romans 12:13-21:   distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.  Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.  Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.   Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.  Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.

If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.  Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord…

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Johnny Enlow: “Let’s show the world and show each other our true colors---love, kindness, care-free hope, generosity and peace.  The best is yet to come!”

Sunil Isaac: “Now is the time for wealth transfer for God’s people.  Now is the time for the people of God to be wise and prophetic like Joseph.  We will see opportunity when others see panic.  Move forward and enlarge spheres of influence.  During the time of famine crisis, Joseph acquired the wealth and land of Egypt.  It was during the crisis when this happened.”

Cindy Jacobs: “Pray Psalm 91 over your families and nations…pray for wisdom for our leaders to contain the spread of the virus while protecting their people effectively.  Pray for the crisis response teams and emergency responders in each nation to be protected and be effective.  Pray for the nations as we pray for our own!  Many prophetic voices across the world have been prophesying the coming of the next great awakening, and that it will happen on a world wide scale.  Forces of evil would like to use this to either delay or disrupt the coming awakenings and revivals.  Intercede that will not happen, but rather that the moves of God will escalate world- wide…”
