GOD'S VOICE

GOD'S VOICE

SUNDAY, 7/5/20, the Year of Our Lord

Pastor Carolyn Sissom

I awoke Saturday morning in deep intercession without a clear understanding of what I was interceding for or about.  I covered all the basis for my family and for the church family.  I prayed for the nation.  I prayed again for forgiveness for all my short-comings.  As the morning progressed, I felt there is a spirit of hopelessness trying to fall on the people of the nation as well as Christians in churches.

Wednesday night Jo Ann suggested that we need another refreshing of a move of the Holy Spirit in Holy Laughter.  I say Amen to that!  The joy of the LORD is our strength and we need a fresh filling after this past season of warfare.

On July 1, 2020, Johnny Enlow posted a rebuke to Pastor Dana Cornerstone’s vision which I forwarded to you this past week.  As you will recall, I neither validated or judged Pastor Dana’s vision.  I sent it to each of you for your discernment and judgement with an exhortation to not allow fear to enter into you.  The visions were widely distributed and I didn’t want anyone in our church fellowship to be blindsided.

My conclusion of the matter is that prophets have different giftings.  Some prophets see and discern what is going on under the first heaven (heaven of the stars).  Those prophets give you words about your life.  Their ministry is to minister to the people on earth.   Some prophets see what is going on in the second heaven with the warfare between the Host of heaven and Satan’s minions.  These prophets are often engaged in warfare.  Some prophets see and hear what God is doing in the third heaven and speak from the realm of the third heaven.  These prophets declare what God is doing; not what Satan is doing and the deceitfulness of sin.

Johnny Enlow’s prophecy is on Face Book and all of you may want to read it.  I personally felt the rebuke was harsh; but certainly, a worthy exhortation for Pastor Dana as well as the Body of Christ to keep our eyes on Jesus during these times.

I copied from the prophecy the part I felt was beneficial for our church fellowship:

“I will tell you that if you can define this year as being summed up by COVID19 and BLM and race riots then you are not very spiritually discerning. All of that is just a surface perception of what has been really going on— even from the bad side of things. Furthermore, it does not go into the greater thing God has been doing in the midst of the storm. It ignores the value of the spiritual RESET taking place and the Lord having His way in so many other ways. The oceans have rested and restocked. The ozone layer is reportedly no longer depleted. Fog and smog have decreased to the point that skyscrapers and mountains, normally un-seeable, are now easy to see. People all over have reconnected with family and reprioritized their lives. Believe me, in so many ways we can’t presently discern, the whole world has changed and is changing towards a much greater good. This year will be known for its’ awakening effect above all else.  He is For You; He is For You!”  There is a reason that the anthem song for 2020 is "The Blessing.” It came out at the beginning of the quarantine period and it has gone around the world in multiple languages, bringing hope, comfort, and courage to God’s people everywhere. A key line in the song that just rocks is, “He is for you, He is for you,” and it’s repeated over and over. It ministers to our hearts and spirits” (Johnny Enlow).

My gifting as a Prophetic Pastor is to guard your souls, guide, encourage, exhort, teach, disciple, bless, be a peace-creator, a deliverer, and a devil stomper.

I want to encourage you today with the Hope that is an anchor for our soul.

Of Hope, the Lord gave us an oath by which it is impossible for Him to lie:

Hebrews 6:17-20 (K.J.V.): Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:  Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters  into that within the

Veil; whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made a high priest; for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (K.J.V.)

Hebrews 6:18-20 (P.T.):  It is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change!  Now we have run into his heart to hide ourselves in his faithfulness.  This is where we find his strength and comfort, for he empowers us to seize what has already been established ahead of time---an unshakeable hope!  We have this certain hope like a strong, unbreakable anchor holding our souls to God himself.  Our anchor of hope is fastened to the mercy seat which sits in the heavenly realm beyond the sacred threshold, and where Jesus, our forerunner, has gone in before us

This anchor of hope ties the Christian securely to the place of God’s presence.  If we can see the metaphor of the anchor tied to our Faith which is the rope.  Our Faith and hope are two separate things.  Our hope is a solid anchor beyond the veil in Heaven (Spirit realm).  It is a certainty.  There is no “perhaps” or “maybe” about it.  It is guaranteed by God’s promise and backed by His oath.  Our line connecting us with our hope is our faith.  Though we live in the world of flesh, because of God’s promises, we seize that hope by faith and cling to it with confidence.  As life’s storms rage, that anchor holds because it is lodged in the solid, Rock, our forerunner, Christ Jesus.   We need not worry persecutions or afflictions come against us.  Our future is bright.  We can walk through any storm when we know better days are ahead.

Our hope in Jesus is our anchor.  Normally in a storm, the anchor on a sailing ship is thrown over the side that it might become lodged in the unseen bed of the sea. But the anchor of our souls, our hope, rises upward.  It passes through the veil into the most holy place of heaven and becomes lodged in the throne of God.  Our hope is “locked in” to the unchangeable God Himself.  We are as safe as God is true.

Hope is our helmet.  1 Th. 5:8: But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

This hope of salvation is based on the fact that God has no intention of letting us experience His wrath.  To the contrary, He chose us to be delivered from it through our Lord Jesus Christ, whose death was for our sake.  He died so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will be in fellowship with Him forever.

1 Peter. 1:21:  Through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

This hope is a certainty.  This Hope enters within the veil to find God’s love in all its fullness and majesty.  Only His love has power over sin.  Only His love has the strength to draw us away from all that is not pleasing to him.  His love, not His rules and laws, not even his judgments cause us to walk away from the flesh.  Although I do have a fear of God.  I do not ever want to be separated from His Presence.  It is that Holy Presence that is the strength of my life.

Here with Him we are transformed by this love, and sin’s stronghold is broken once and for all.

Faithfulness to him becomes a way of life.  We are no longer a sinner struggling for divine approval.  We are a son, washed in His blood and victorious because of His great love for us.

Earthly love keeps you faithful to your spouse.  Agape Love will keep you faithful and devoted to the Lord.  God did not send His Son to die so we could continue to be unfaithful to Him.

The Power of His love is released through the New Covenant.  This love calls us into Holiness.  It is out of this intense desire to please Him that His love has the power to break sin’s hold on us.  Through Jesus entering in beyond the veil as the forerunner, we have the hope of the Glory of God.

We are joyful in hope.  We have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.  And we rejoice in the hope of the Glory of God.

So, now concerning the Voice of God, at Friday Prayer Net, there was an amazing three-fold confirmation.  Phyllis had requested that I pray about the election as the Spirit led me.

Lee Ann Vance prayed a powerful prayer invoking the lightning and thunder of God.  Unbeknownst to me, Phyllis had asked Jetta Nastally to read Psalm 29 which is God’s Voice of Thunder and the Seven Thunders of God.  Unknown to Phyllis, I had pre-prepared notes from Revelation 4:5: O’ Lord God, “Out of your throne proceeds lightnings, and thunderings and voices.” Your Lightning precedes thunder.  Every time God moves, God talks.   Let the voice of the Lord break every conspiracy between the Illuminati and the Dragon.   Let the weapon of your lightning move into the camps of the enemy.   I pray O’ God that evil spirits will be struck down, strong ancestral racism will break and persistent attacks will stop by your weapon of hot thunderbolts.  Release O’ Lord God hot thunderbolts from your throne to force the enemy to withdraw in shame and repentance.

The colossal, mighty angel gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion.  When he shouted the voices of the seven thunders spoke…The angel said (Verse 6):  There will be no more delay!

Now is the time.  Now is God’s time!  The mystery of God will be accomplished just as he announces to his servants the prophets.

Let the voice of the Lord contend with any evil voice speaking against God’s purposes for this election.  I invoke the voice of God to scatter the camp of treason and all oppressors, in the name of Jesus.

Oh Lord God let the sound of your voice advance the Kingdom of God as we are passing from one age to the next.

My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they will follow me. Jn. 10:27.

When the Almighty goes into battle, he does the uncommon by leading captivity captive.  With the weapon of the almighty, the enemy is caught in the trap set by him.

O Lord God of hosts, we the church come along side you and the Host of Heaven’s armies to war in agreement with you in the second and first heaven to defeat Satan’s minions over this nation.

I pray you send prophets to turn the heart of this nation back to God and to turn the hearts of the wicked leaders to serve you as civil servants.  The spirit of Anti-Christ wages war against our nation, our families and our churches.  I pray during this election you O’ Lord remove all wicked government leaders in our nation; as well as wicked dictators and tyrants in the nations of the earth.” (excerpt from prayer 7/3/20)

Absolutely nothing changes in the earth until our heavenly Father speaks it into existence on His pre-determined time schedule.  God does not change.  For I am the Lord, I do not change. (Mal. 3:6a).”  God is self-existent, self-sufficient, self-containing, totally integrated, perfect, immutable, infinite and timeless.  But God still does new things in the earth with each succeeding generation of mankind.  God has the ability to do new things every single day.  With or without our permission, God is making changes in us; not only us, but the Church as we know it; our nation; and the nations of the world.

As with Jacob, God is wrestling with each of us with the intent of winning.  If we truly have our hope in God, then we want what he wants.  However, to get there, we have to let go of and leave behind all that is familiar to us.  We have to walk into the unknown realm of Faith.

In order for the Kingdom of God to advance, God disturbs what we think we know and are hearing and especially what we are doing.

Everything in God commences with vision accompanied by the sound of His voice.  His voice sounds concurrently with His manifestation of Himself.  God is light, and light is indicative of His presence!  When light moves into our sphere, the noise of its speed becomes sound.

“Out of the throne proceeds lightnings and thunderings and voices.  There were a multitude of voices on Mount Sinai, a multitude of voices in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost.  There will be a multitude of voices in the Feast of Tabernacles.

God always announces the new thing He is doing in the languages of the existing nations all at once, thus making a multitudinous sound.  God is speaking to all nations at once in 2020.

There is lightning before thundering.  Even in our atmosphere under the heaven of the stars, lightning precedes thunder.  However, thunder completes the sound package.  Every time God moves, God talks.

Psa. 77:18:  The voice of your thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

The voice and sound of the Lord facilitates a new day in the economy of God for the people of God.  In each case throughout the Bible, whether the sound of the mighty rushing wind at Pentecost; the sound of the Lord God walking in the Garden, the sound of the Lord’s voice on Mount Sinai, or the seven thunders of the Book of Revelation, these were the sound of His voice that changed everything.

The 120 people in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost were caught squarely in the midst of a new heavenly manifestation.  Ready or not, I would say We the church have been blasted out of our complacency.

God reveals and speaks to covenantal people in agreement with His own unchangeable time clocks.

I speak this boldly because I felt we had a three-fold confirmation of this Word at Friday Prayer Net.
