'WE SHALL COME REJOICING"

"WE SHALL COME REJOICING”

Psa. 126

Sunday, Ju e 26, 2022, the Year of Our Lord

Pastor Carolyn Sissom

It was Friday, on the Prayer Net Call hosted by Phyllis Garrett, we received the news that Roe vs Wade had been overturned.  When I heard the news, I was overtaken by the Holy Spirit and began to weep with joy.  I knew the Lord had touched our nation with His “mighty hand and an outstretched arm.” I knew God had done great things.  I knew that “only God” could have delivered this nation from the horrible sin of abortion.

For the prayer call, I had prepared scripture to take authority over the demonic spirits which stir up mobs and riots.  So, when Phyllis called on me for prayer, I continued with that prayer-focus.  However, I was crying so uncontrollably, that my words were hardly coherent.  It was the Holy Spirit crying through me with gratefulness that our Lord God had touched our nation and heard our prayers.  I often weep at the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit.  But it is the Holy Spirit weeping through me; not from my soul.

A few minutes passed on the prayer call as others came forth with praise and joy.  Then Phyllis asked me to pray over communion.  As I begin to minister the sacrament, I broke again into uncontrollable sobbing.

Afterwards, I just sat before the Lord worshiping and thanking Him for remembering our nation and remembering the prayers and cries of the Church.  As I was worshipping, I heard the lyrics to a song which I had not heard for years.

“We shall come rejoicing bringing in the sheaves.”

As I have shared with our congregation, I have felt the Church in the United States and the whole world is on the cuspid of revival or the Great Harvest.   “Bringing in the Sheaves” is a Harvest song.  I am persuaded the overturning of Roe vs Wade was a shot fired from the Throne of God for the Church to advance against the Gates of Hell.

Psa. 126:2-6:  Our mouth will be filled with laughter and our tongue with singing.  Then they said among the nations, “the Lord has done great things for them.”  The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.  Bring back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.  Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.  He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing bringing his sheaves with him.

This Psalm of joy after sorrow is a Song of Thanksgiving for return from captivity.  It is a Psalm of laughter and tears.

“Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,

Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve;

Waiting for the harvest, and the time of reaping,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Refrain: Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves

Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,

Fearing neither clouds nor winter’s chilling breeze;

By and by the harvest, and the labor ended,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Going forth with weeping, sowing for the master,

Though the loss sustained our spirit often grieves;

When our weeping’s over, He will bid us welcome,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves. (Knowles Shaw – 1874).

I was at a meeting Friday evening and Robyn Thom Rodgers mentioned this song.  She had been singing it that day.  I told my story and Harry Gregory had played the song that day on his guitar.  None of us have heard the song for years.

It was a message.  It is the LORD who has done great things for us.  Those who are violently opposed to the overturning of Roe are lost and are of a reprobate mind.  Many are demon possessed.  I believe a mighty hovering of the Holy Spirit like I felt on Friday will bring many of these to receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Wise men and women weep! Cry! Blow the trumpet! Gather together! Wash your hearts from wickedness and set up a standard!  May the Church of the Living God come before Him broken before His awesome power and presence.

This victory will give the Christians courage.

Worldly kingdoms have always been controlled by Godly or satanic angels. It is God who rules over all the kingdoms of men, the underworld, and the heavens.  God plans the rise and fall of certain kingdoms.

Satan seeks to keep the prophetic word from coming to pass.

The Acts church was birthed through great persecution, loss of life, and violent attacks against Christianity.  The glorious overcoming end-time Church has suffered violence and will suffer violence at the hands of the mobs and even other religious, apostate churches who have embraced the world system and preach the world system.

When the Apostle Paul went to Corinth to start a church, it was after he had been stoned, beaten, thrown in jail, victim of riots and disturbances, then thrown out of every church he started except for Athens, Greece.  There he only left a few converts.  However, Greece is still a Christian nation.

According to Acts 18:2-4, Paul was reasoning with the Jews every Sabbath; but he did not start preaching to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ until Silas and Timothy came to meet him.   In 18:5-6, “Paul was compelled by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.”   Again, they opposed him.  He departed from there and went to the house Justus, one who worshiped God.

There, he received another visitation from the Lord:  18: 9-11:  The Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “do not be afraid, but speak and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you, for I have many people in this city.”

That is all any preacher needs to hear.: “I have them though they do not yet know me.  I will lose none.”  Even in the wicked city of Corinth, Christ had many people.  Paul continued at Corinth 18-months teaching the word of God among them.

Paul’s letter to the Corinthians reveals to us the problems, pressures and struggles of a church called out of a pagan society.  Gong beyond the licentiousness of other trading cities and ports, it lent its own name as the symbol of debauchery and corruption.  The monstrosity of sexual perversion in the name of religion overshadowed the life of the city.

This is what our nation looks like, but Jesus told Paul.

1.       Do not be afraid.

2.      Speak

3.      Do not keep silent

4.      I am with you.

5.      No one will attack you to hurt you.

6.      I have many people in this city.

I am persuaded after this visitation; Paul received another level of authority and Glory.  When he arrives in Ephesus, He is now speaking, declaring, writing and operating from the overcomer’s throne.

Acts 19: 28-34 is an example of mass hysteria and confusion created intentionally for political, religious and financial gain. We can align this with the present rioting and protests regarding the worship of abortion which has become a profitable trade internationally.  I can assure you all o that this that is being stirred up against the Supreme Court is about money, not about women’s choice.  When money interests and religion are offended at the same time, it’s an explosive result.

The spirit of Demetrius, the silversmith, motivated by money, organizes and stirs up mobs and riots (Acts 19: 23-27).  He stirred up the people over their worship and superstition over the goddess Diana/Artemis.

“Diana/Artemis, Greek goddess, was purported to be the mother of all gods and men, goddess of childbirth, the moon, and the wilderness.  NASA has adopted Artemis missions to land the first woman and first person of color on the Moon.  To establish the first long-term human robotic presence on and around the Moon.  Then take the next leap sending astronauts to Mars.  NASA statement: “Artemis the twin sister of Apollo and goddess of the Moon in Greek mythology.  Now, she personifies our path to the Moon as the name of NASA’s efforts to return astronauts and a new wave of science payloads and technology to the lunar surface.  June 21, 2022, NASA announces Artemis concept awards for nuclear power on moon.”

I rebuke the spirit of Demetrius and mammon over the present rioting and protests regarding the worship of abortion which has become a profitable trade internationally.  All that is being stirred up against the Supreme Court is about money, not about women’s choice.  We break the spirit of rage and violence.

Dr. Luke donates twenty verses to this riot and this is a red alert to examine these verses closely.  The witchcraft and superstition over their goddess Artemis are a spirit over abortion and the mob violence associated to protect their economies.  There is a statue of the goddess Artemis in Houston, TX.

In the last few days, Timothy Dixon had a dream whereby he had a vision of the Angel of the Lord; and a death angel who identified himself as the destroyer.  God’s people will be kept safe.  As the judgment was falling, the time of the harvest had also come.

The devil comes to kill, steal and destroy.  The destroyer is the third person of the unholy trinity.

They had a King over them which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon

1.    Abaddon = "destruction"

1.    ruin

2.    destruction

3.    the place of destruction

4.       the name of the angel-prince of the infernal regions, the minister of death and the author of havoc on the earth

Those of us who have passed the brazen altar (The Cross), who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be marked with the sealings' of the Holy Ghost:

  1. The Blood of Jesus
  2. Baptism of Water
  3. Baptism of the Holy Ghost
  4. The Mind of Christ
  5. The Word of God

  1. God’s provision from destruction is first repentance and obedience.
  2. Secondly, the blood on the doorpost protected the Israelites from the destroying angel.
  3. Further God sent His word and delivered them from destruction (Psa. 107:20)
  4. God promised protection from destruction for those who would commit their cause to him (Job. 5:21-22).

The prince of Grecia is the spirit confined to the abyss who will come out in the last days and cause the human antichrist to revive the old Grecian Empire so that they can oppose Jesus Christ at Armageddon.  The beast out of the abyss is a satanic angel and not the human spirit of some dead man.  He controls the human antichrist and uses him as a tool to revive the 5th or Grecian Kingdom

In Acts 19: 26, the words of Demetrius tell us the scope of the move of God in Asia.

Paul has persuaded and turned away many people.”  Demetrius’ speech is to persuade the people to remove the Apostle.  We still have the spirit of Demetrius at work in politics and religion.

In Acts 19:35, a city clerk quieted the crowd down and sent them away.  This is the power of the local and state government.  We must pray for our city, county and state governments to be able to stand against the federal government.

In 2 Chronicles 15-16 is the story of, Asa, a king of Judah who was good and right in the sight of the Lord.  He led a time of reformation and restoration.  The land experienced a great revival.  The Lord gave him a promise through a prophet. Let us decree and claim that Word for a revival for America and for the Harvest.

2 Ch. 15:1-7:  The spirit of God came upon Azariah.  He went out to meet Asa, and said to him, “hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; the LORD is with you, while you be with him; and if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.  For a long season Israel has been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.  But when they in trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.  In those times. There was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.  Nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city; for God did vex them with all adversity.  Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak; for your work shall be rewarded.”

Church, let us stay the course, persevere, love God and our neighbor as ourself.  Be kind one to another, pray and read our Bibles, because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world; to test those who dwell on the earth (Rev. 3:10).
