THE DAY IS AT HAND
THE DAY IS AT HAND
SUNDAY, February 19, 2023, the Year of Our Lord
Pastor Carolyn Sissom
This week our church family broke forth into a new season: We had our first evening service since moving into the new church-plant. Revivalist -Prophet Keith Miller was our guest minister. He preached on the Breaker anointing, and deposited fire and compassion through the Christ within him.
Friday, February 17, 2023, I was scrolling through some Face Book Memories from February 17, 2022. “Dream: A voice spoke to me, ‘I have searched the earth for faith and released into faith--Love." A powerful surge of love was imparted into me.’ (End of dream). I am interpreting this to mean, we are under a visitation and for all who have faith, a move of God through the realm of divine love has been released.” (End of quote).
I preached a message on this February 20, 2222, “He Searcheth all Hearts.”
“Faith worketh by love.”
“The great test of the working of saving faith is this---it “works by love.” Faith always produces love.” “Faith creates love as summer breeds flowers.” Love grows out of faith. Faith is the soul’s eye and its telescope by which it sees that which is so far off as to be otherwise invisible. Faith creates love. If Christ is yours, Faith can say, “Jesus is mine,” “This is my beloved, my husband, my brother, my friend.”
In February19, 2011, I had dream about a white watch. It was pointed toward a red arrow (which was a key). Written out was, “The Key of Righteousness”. In the dream, I retrieved a message from my library titled, “The Key of Righteousness.” (End of dream.) February 20, 2011, I preached a message on the Key of Righteousness.
In that same message I wrote, “The Lord gave me a word written out in a dream. The Word was, that which is in Heaven, will be Heavenly on earth.” That was February 20, 2011. I have preached several messages on that.
I don’t think it is a coincidence I received all of these messages on or around the same date. The Lord is speaking of a new day, and that day has come. The light of Heaven is pressing in on the darkness. Rise and shine for your light has come and the Glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
In the process of Christian development, personal as well as the Ecclesia, we are constantly entering transition periods where God will take us out of the old way and bring us into the new. It is the interim period, this transition, this overlapping of His Divine dealings with us causes us to press into the Lord for more of Him, His Presence and His Glory.
I have no argument with those who feel like they have already arrived and entered into the fullness of their Canaan inheritance. But I am one whose heart cries out to God for the more abundant life of the Spirit, not only for me, but for all seekers who crying out and pressing in for more, more, more.
With every setting of the sun and the rising of the same, there is a NEW THING accomplished in the earth.
The sun also arises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to his place where he arose (Ecc. 1:5). There is a new measure of growth transmitted to the trees and shrubs and plants of the earth. Day after day, and year after year, there is a continual participation in the life of the sun, and a growing unto maturity. So, it is with the Church of Jesus Christ and with the individual lives of God’s people. There is a continual increase of the Christ within, and of His government and peace in our lives. There is a new unfolding of the Divine eternal purpose. …His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness (Lam. 3:22-23).
People who lack vision are forever bemoaning the setting of the sun, as if that were the close of the day. But the setting of the sun is not the close of the day, it is the beginning. According to the book of Genesis. We must continually go back to the Genesis to discover God’s order. The evening and the morning (Gen. 1) constitute God’s full day, and not the morning and the evening.
The night is far spent and the day is at hand (Rom. 4:12). Even now before the full rising of the “Sun of righteousness” into the new day of His glory, there is the shining forth of the first rays of dawn. The Daystar is arising in hearts. Even in this world of darkness, there is a glorious hope and promise, so that we may say with the psalmist, …Even the night shall be light about me. Indeed the darkness shall not hide from you; but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to you. (Psa. 139:11-12).
Faith is bright in the midst of darkness because of the promise. But faith is budding forth into Hope, which is even brighter, because it is anticipating the dawn. Then do we enter into LOVE---which is the full expression of Faith, and Hope, the very life of God Himself radiating from the lives of His chosen ones.
That explains my dream: “I have searched the earth for faith and released into faith--Love."
God will yet have a people who shall be true to their calling as ambassadors, who are not citizens of this world order. How He will do it is beyond our imagination. God took His people out of the midst of another people before and he can do it again. God has a purpose which shall not miscarry. God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent; has he said, and will he not do it, or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. (Num. 23:19-20).
God’s purpose demands a triumphant Church in the last day. God’s purpose demands that there shall be a “glorious” church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (Eph. 5:27). This is with the washing of the water of the Word.
God’s purpose demands there shall be a harvest of the grain in exact likeness to seed that was planted. God’s purpose demands that the building rise up unto glorious completion. God’s purpose demands that the Holy Temple of God comes into glorious perfection. It is not a case of our worthiness. It is God’s Name that is at stake! It shall yet be said…, “What has God wrought? (Numbers 23:23). Psa. 126:2: …Then said they among the heathen, the Lord has done great things for them.
There is a promise of total victory. Num. 23:24: Look, a people rise like a lioness, and lifts itself up like a lion; it shall not lie down until it devours the prey… All enemies must be placed under the feet of Christ, and as members of His body, we are “the feet of Him” who reigns in the heavens, for heaven is His throne and earth is His footstool.
Numbers 24: 5-6: How goodly are your tents, O Jacob, and your tabernacles, O Israel! As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side.
To us are given the blessings of the House of Jacob.
Man’s first home was in a garden, and his final home is in a garden, even the garden of the Lord. He is the vine, and we are the branches. We are the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified (Isa. 61:3). The river of life flows forth from the throne of God, to water that garden, and the trees that grow on the banks of that river shall flourish and be fruitful. The nations of the earth shall eat of the fruit of those trees, and the leaves thereof shall be for their healing. That is why the Lord is concerned about the bringing forth of the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. We might be satisfied with the gifts and blessings of God. But God knows that real deliverance and blessing shall only come to mankind as the fruit of the spirit comes to maturity in those who have been so blessed with His gifts.
Then the prophet goes on to say, His Kingdom shall be exalted…he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows (Numbers 24: 7-8).
They shall take the kingdom, for theirs is a “royal priesthood,” and they are “kings” and priests unto God.”
Anything less than total conquest…anything less than a complete and final possession of the heavenly realm (that realm of the Spirit unto which we are called, and in which we wage our warfare) …anything less than complete conquest spells defeat. We are to experience Heaven on earth.
Isa. 55:10: As the rain comes down and the snow from heaven…
it is not just another rain, another revival, history repeating itself. Every time it rains there is a new measure of fulness wrought in the earth. It rains, and the seed that has been planted begins to sprout and break forth under the soil. It might not even be visible. Silently does the Spirit of God come into the life and such a one is “born again” by the incorruptible seed of the Word of God. But it is really just the sprouting of the seed. It is a rebirth in the inner man. It is God becoming involved in the life of the individual, that before the entrance of the Word was nothing more than earth…dark, barren, fruitless. Again, it rains. Now there is a springing forth of leaves, of twigs, of branches. There is a continual unfolding. One says, “Strange, I never saw that in the word before.” It was there, and you read it perhaps hundreds of times, but you never saw it. Why? Because you were but a sprouting seed hidden away in darkness…or a blade just beginning to come forth into the light. You have been growing in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now we are able to see what was inherent in the seed and never revealed. It was in the Word, but hidden away in the letter, in the shell. It rains, and rains again. The process continues to go on. “All the rivers run into the sea, yet is the sea not full…” Because through the process of nature the sea yields its moisture back to the air, and the winds carry it across the land. The rivers are replenished, the clouds pour the water back to the earth again.
The day of harvest approaches. Things begin to change once more. We get accustomed to new revelation and settle back in satisfaction and delight of our new found joy, then God comes forth again…Our plant begins to take on a new measure of beauty and glory. There is liberty in the Spirit. The flowers of grace appear. There is beauty and glory in the life of the individual or in the assembly, such as our hearts had longed for. We must have the rain in due season, but in the time of harvest, it is no longer necessary; because he is looking, not for rain, but for the FRUIT of the earth.
God is looking for something better, something that will show forth His own life, His own nature, His own character, His own love. Christ must be formed within before the Husbandman can reach forth His hand and take that which will delight and satisfy His own heart, and that which will satisfy the hunger and thirst of mankind.
MORNING HAS BROKEN
“Morning has broken like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for them springing fresh from the world.
Sweet the rains new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dew fall on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where His feet pass.
Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God’s recreation of the new day.
Morning has broken like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for them springing fresh from the world.”
