JESUS CHRIST, THE OMEGA

Rev. 1:8: I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
John is seeing the Living Glory of the Word preached by revelation in the Gospel of John 1:1-2: In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
Rev. 22:13: I am the Alpha and the omega, the Beginning and the End, the first and the Last.
Jesus Christ has a special end-time name, and that name is the OMEGA, which is the last letter of the Greek alphabet. Yes, Jesus Christ is the One who is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8). He is the Alpha, and He changes not, but in this hour, He stands in our midst as the OMEGA.
We must begin to minister in union with the End-Time Lord.
We have come to the end, no longer can we merely prophecy about end-time events and teach end-time truths. As we look around us, all of Matthew 24 is fulfilled in our midst. The Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation are unfolding, as well as the prophecies of the Old Testament.
He is bringing to a conclusion. He is bringing to a consummation. He is finishing what He started. He is completing the Building, for which he has laid the foundation. He is about to gather the Harvest, for which He planted the Seed. He will reconcile and join together in harmony the Family of God, for which He sent His Son.
He will bring forth the LOAF in His people, even as He was the Manna that came down from Heaven. He will effectually join His beloved ones unto Himself in One Body, One Spirit, One Hope, One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, one God and Father of all (Eph. 4:4-6).
Jesus Christ was the BODY through which the Father expressed Himself in the earth many centuries ago.
God has planned and ordained that there shall be a full and complete expression of the living Christ in His family that is in the earth. We dare not lower God’s standard because the Vision seems too high. W must not dilute the revelation of the Spirit with human opinions or methods, in order to make it “workable.”
The “fulness of God” through His people means a “completeness,” where there is “nothing lacking.” In no place are the people of God to fall short of the glory and beauty of Christ. God is going to “complete” and bring to a glorious conclusion, all that He has purposed in His beloved people.
We know the work of Redemption was completed when Jesus was here on earth. He said in His great high-priestly prayer to the father, “I have finished the work which you gave me to do,” and we hear Him saying in his dying moments on the Cross, ‘IT IS FINSIHED!” His work on earth was finished! Jesus still continues His work from Heaven. He is not just filling in time until He can come back to earth and set up an earthly kingdom. Jesus is NOW REIGNING IN Zion and will continue to do so until all enemies are subdued under His feet (His Body), the Kingdom on earth established when He came as the Messiah and Savior to those who will receive Him.
Ps. 110:1: The LORD said to my LORD, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
1 Co. 15: 23-25: Since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order; Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He put an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till he has put all enemies under His feet.
Jesus Christ now rules and reigns from a heavenly throne of majesty, as both KING and PRIEST “as a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true Tabernacle, which the Lord pitched and not man” (Heb. 8:2).
His coming back is not to set up a Kingdom. He has already done that. IT IS FINISHED! He will yet gather in the Harvest, to judge and consume the chaff and tares and to give to every man according to His works. For 2023 years minus 33 years, He has been ministering, and reigning from Zion, the City of God --- bringing to nothing the devices of men, overthrowing, rooting up, tearing down --- as well as building and planting. This work is not finished yet, but it is going to be. And once again the cry will ring forth (not from the Cross this time, but from the heavens): “IT IS FINISHED!”
Rev. 10:7: In the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
The mystery of God is gong to be “FINISHED.” All that God has planned and purposed for His people is going to be completed. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the author as well as the ‘FINISHER of our faith” (Heb. 12:2).
The people of God are in reality the “finished work (Jhn. 17:4), the Bride of Christ, that God has already determined and is preparing. We, His people, are the crowning work of His creation. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10).
We are to be the very crowning glory of His creative power and majesty! The people of God know that “in Christ dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Col. 2:9). For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell (Col. 1:19). We know this applies to Him NOW in the full measure of kingly power and authority; and it applied to Him when he was on earth in the beauty of His life, nature and character. It was the ”glory of the Father” that shone forth in His earthly life and ministry (Ro. 6:4).
God has a family. He has One Beloved Son, the Only Begotten. But God will have a family like His Son because the Only Begotten of the father is so precious in His sight, and so delightful to His heart … that He wants to have more like Him.
1 John 4:9: In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
The book of Revelation is communicated by God, not to any mortal man but to Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, and exalted in glory. The revelation is contained in a heavenly book---the scroll of destiny already written on high, or as it is called in Daniel 10:21, the book of truth. That this is true of the present revelation is made plain in 5:1: I saw in the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne a book written inside and on the backside with seven seals.” We can say this is the same book that was sealed in Daniel’s vision (12: 8-13). John is commanded by the angel in Revelation 22:10: Do not seal the sayings of the prophecy of this book for the time is at hand.
1 Pet. 3:22: Who is gone into heaven and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
In Revelation 1:20, Jesus again identifies Himself as the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. He held in his hand the keys of hell and of death and in his right hand the mystery of the seven stars, and the seven golden candlesticks. “The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.”
Every church which has been called by the Lord has been given an angel. If the church is flowing in the Holy Spirit within the Kingdom of God, it will be a candlestick church. The Pastor of the church also has an angel assigned to complete his/her kingdom assignment. Eastgate Church has an angel assigned to it with and End-Time mandate and commission. We have many angels in our church because each of you have your angels plus your destiny angel.
One of the clearest explanations of the harvest at the end of the world is in the parable of the wheat and the tares.
Matt. 13: 24, 25, 30: The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field. While men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. (vs. 30) Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, “Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”
Jesus explains Harvest parable to his disciples:
Matt. 13: 39-43: The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore, as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
Jesus declares the next event will be the removal of the wicked from out of the midst of the righteous leaving behind only the righteous. The end-time Harvest occurs after the Church slept and allowed the enemy to sow tares into the kingdom.
This is another sign of the Second Coming; the church of the 21st century is asleep and certainly the tares have come in. At Eastgate Church, the Lord has protected us from much of the wickedness of the world and the tares which sow themselves in larger churches.
Christ has been sold for church temples, entertainment, gimmicks, and all manner of religious programs.
The Song of the Lord has been sold for jazz, rock music, and polished musical talent.
The Lordship of the Spirit has been sold for the lordship of some strong charismatic, church leaders. Perhaps even an apostle or prophet who exercises authority and control over the people.
The authority and Holiness of the Word of God has been compromised to appease a “woke” and “sinful” people who despise the pure word of the Holy One of Israel.
The compromise of God’s word has given permission for sin in the sleeping church.
Christ is not being sold for thirty pieces of silver. The Devil is bidding much higher today, and Christ is being sold for thousands, even millions of dollars … as men and women sell their gifts, or their ministries, or their rock, or Jazz, for large sums of money to gullible Christians.
With all the signs in the earth that we are closer than before, even past the last hours into the last minutes before Christ’s return, we must begin to minister in union with the end-time Lord of the Harvest, Jesus Christ, the Omega.
Rev. 22:12-16: Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the End, the First and the Last. Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
“Be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me hither; for God did send me before you to preserve life (Gen. 45:5). Once God has brought His family to true repentance and brokenness of heart, He wants to remove the sting of condemnation. He does not want us to burden our conscience with the sins and failure of the past; and He has given us in the scriptures a beautiful example of the mercy that He bestowed on the greatest of sinners.
God apprehended and saved the greatest sinner that ever lived! In this way, He has give us an example of His great long-suffering, patience and grace. If he was able to save the greatest of sinners, surely, He knows how to bestow mercy and grace on the lesser sinners! This man was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, a murderer, but he became a great apostle, and preached Christ in power and anointing and great fruitfulness.
1 Tim 1:15-16: This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptations, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I AM CHIEF. God saved the Chief! “Howbeit, for this cause, I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might show forth all long suffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting
