GEOPOLITCAL CHESS MATCH
ISAIAH 19: 18-24

It is obvious to all who are prophecy watchers, that President Donald J. Trump is playing a prophetic geopolitical chess match two levels above the media, politics, and heads of state.
Are his moves pre-meditated? Is he being directed by prophecy, or is he just a pawn in the hands of our Almighty God who is sovereign over all the powers in the earth, below the earth and above the earth?
His moves are bold working around his enemies’ schemes and plots and landing supernaturally on his feet. As far as his person, he is walking in the Spirit realm of death to the carnal soul. They have impeached him twice, indicted him, and shot him. One of the hardest trials for an honest man to go through is to be falsely charged as a criminal. I have never been charged as a criminal, but yes, I have had good intentions (not recently) be falsely accused as have all of us
To those of you who wonder if I am going to preach from the Bible, I will first give you the strategy sequences before preaching Isaiah 19: 18-24.
Geopolitical is a word we need to add to our world view which includes the Lord Jesus’ sovereignty over all the kingdoms of the world and His activity in the affairs of government both civil and spiritual as well as His prophetic Word as written in the Holy Writ.
Geopolitical: “A study of the geography, economics, and demography on foreign policy of a state.”
Either by the providence of God, or by design, President Donald J. Trump is strategically putting everything in place one move at a time:
1. SECURE THE BORDER – A country who controls its border controls its future. It is necessary to restore the nation’s front door from all illegals.
2. ENFORCE THE LAW against criminals who entered illegally. Remove foreign enemies. The rule of Law matters. American communities come first.
3. PANAMA CANAL is one of the most strategic trade routes on earth. It gives leverage over global commerce. Protecting that gateway protects the entire Western Hemisphere.
4. VENEZEUELA – Massive oil reserves. Political pressure there shifts the balance of power in Latin America. Global energy dynamics begin to shift.
5. DRUG CARTELS – Transnational criminal empires. Our government has targeted their leadership, cut their profits, their networks are fractured.
6. REGIONAL – SHIELD OF THE AMERICAS – Twelve Latin American right-wing leaders attended Shield of Americas summit today. Venezuela was excluded. Mexico’s liberal government skipped the event. President Trump announced today that the cartels are controlling Mexico’s government.
7. ENERGY LEVERAGE – President Trump has negotiated with Middle Eastern leadership to stabilize energy markets and balance influence of energy supplies. Whoever shapes energy supplies shape geopolitical power.
8. IRAN – Decades of instability central to the Middle East. The intent is to limit its nuclear ambition, thus shifting the balance of power across the entire region.
9. As fast as things are moving, #9 could happen before the day is over.
We watched on Saturday, February 28, 2026, God’s judgment, and redemption spoken through Jeremiah fulfilled over Elam, modern day, Iran (Jeremiah 49: 34-39). For at least the past twenty-five years, whenever Iran would attack our military or bases, I would decree this judgment and redemption over Iran. It is now God’s timeline to fulfill that prophecy.
The Lord first speaks judgment and then he speaks His redemption.
2700 years ago, Isaiah prophesied about Egypt, Assyria, and Israel. Isa. 19: 18-25. I last taught Isaiah chapter 19 on January 30, 2011. At that time, the idea of Egypt being a Christian nation and being joined with Israel and Assyria as “one of three,” was still clearly prophetic and beyond any historical events known to us in 2011. Today, in 2026, we are seeing the possible timeline of the fulfillment of this prophecy in our day.
March 8, 2026: Mapping ancient prophecy to modern nations--- Who is Assyria today? Iraq, Syria, parts of Turkey, parts of Iran, northern Saudia Arabia, and Lebanon A massive geopolitical alignment.
In 700 B.C., the Assyrian empire is at its height. Egypt is a fading super-power. Israel is caught between two massive powers trying to survive. Another geopolitical chess match – Isaiah received a prophecy about God’s judgment of Egypt. (Isaiah 19: 1-17.)
Isaiah received a prophecy about Egypt, but not the Egypt of his time, but an Egypt of the distant future. The end result of the Lord’s dealings with this nation is a wholesale turning of the Egyptians to God such as has never yet taken place, a wholesale turning of Assyria, in a three-fold cord of peace and prosperity with Israel.
19: 18-25: In that day, five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and swearing allegiance to the LORD of HOSTS; one will be called the City of Destruction. In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord near its border. And it will become a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the Lord because of oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Champion and He will deliver them. Thus, the Lord will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering and will make a vow to the Lord and perform it. And the Lord will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so, they will return to the Lord, and He will respond to them and will heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.” In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria --- a blessing in the midst of the land. Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying “blessed is Egypt, My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel, my inheritance.
I have been concerned about the Board of Peace and the geopolitical intent of the 25 nations involved. However, the nations in this prophecy who are on the Board of Peace are Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkey and Jordan.
Egypt already has peace with Israel and normalized relations for decades. Camp David Accords in 1978, President Jimmy Carter.
President Trump’s deal of the century. His top priority is Middle East peace, and Russia-Ukraine Peace. --- Not just peace between Israel and Palestine. Peace across the entire region. Middle East peace – peace to prosperity. Palestinians rejected it outright --- No agreement was signed. No Palestinian state was created. The deal of the century wasn’t really about the Palestinians. He bypassed the Palestinian issue entirely, bypassed the United Nations and created a new Middle East order.
For the first time in history, Arab nations are making peace with Israel without demanding a Palestinian state. (There are negotiations for the rebuilding Gaza). They are not without motive. Yet, geopolitical peace for trade and energy markets are motives. There are direct flights between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi. The Middle East is being reshaped. Not through wars through peace deals. Where is Syria in all this?
Between the two lay Syria and Palestine, but---says the prophet---that territory will be fragmented no longer but will consist of a united Israel (of Davidic dimensions) on a par with the mighty imperial powers. Harmony reigns between the three states, for all worship the same God which will certainly be a blessing to the whole earth.
The passage attests the prophet’s startling faith (in an era when Judah was so puny and powerless) and also his breadth of tolerance. When I preached it in 2011, It would have taken a very high level of faith to prophecy this Word. I did come into agreement with it as well as our Tuesday Prayer Group. Could it be the timeline has come for it to be fulfilled. Today, let us join our faith with Isaiah and decree it to be so.
Egypt historically pagan, turns to the LORD. build altars, worships the LORD. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.” In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria --- a blessing in the midst of the land. Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying “blessed is Egypt, My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel, my inheritance.
Blessed be Egypt my people. Egypt has turned to the true God. Assyria the brutal empire which destroyed the northern kingdom of Israel has become God’s handiwork. This isn’t just peace. It is spiritual transformation on a scale history has never seen.
Case for fulfillment: Geographic alignment, a natural corridor. They form a line. If Syria joins the Board of Peace, then peace treaties connect all three. Historically impossible. A literal highway, free travel, co-operation, direct flights, tourism. Add Syria to the mix and we have the geographic corridor Isaiah described.
The City of Destruction in verse 18 is rather obscure. However, Masoretic Text reads, “City of the Sun” which means that Yahweh’s influence will reach even to the city named after Egypt’s most important deity, the sun-god, Re.
By New Testament times, a very large number of Jews had taken up residence in Egypt.
The ancient world was not ill-supplied with trade-routes, though no doubt the road from Assyria to Egypt was long and arduous. The existence of the highway between them implies in Isaiah 19, not the march of armies but peaceful and prosperous intercourse with no barriers between.
There was a Jewish temple built in Egypt in 1 B.C. Some believe this to be a partial fulfillment of this prophecy. However, only Jesus Christ can fulfill Verse 20. He shall send them a Savior and a Great One, and He shall deliver them.
I believe Egypt will become one of the “sheep nations” because it was to Egypt the Lord sent Mary and Joseph after Jesus was born. The Lord has used Egypt as a refuge nation for the Jews.
Genesis 12:10: And there was a famine in the land; so Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.
Genesis 15:18: On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “ to your descendant I have given this land. From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.”
Also, it was to Egypt the Lord sent Joseph to save Israel in time of famine.
Genesis 45: 8-9: “So now it was not you who sent me here (speaking to his brothers), but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of his entire house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt. Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, “thus says your son, Joseph; God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not tarry.”
Genesis 45: 13: So you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen; and you shall hurry and bring my father down here.
Joseph told his brothers that God made him:
1. A father to Pharaoh
2. Lord of all Pharaoh’s house
3. A ruler throughout the land of Egypt
4. Lord of all Egypt.
