A HOLY WAR
A HOLY WAR
Sunday Evening Prayer Service
April 5, 2026
It is my persuasion that the alliance of military might between national Israel and the United States (spiritual Israel/the Church) are a manifestation of the God’s Kingdom i.e., The Kingdom of God. Because of the prophecies in Jeremiah 49:34-39 and Ezekiel 32:24-25, the Epic Fury is the “sword/war” of judgment against the spirit of terror as defined in Ezekiel 32: 18-32.
Asshur (Iraq), Elam (Iran), Meshech, Tubal, (Russia) Edom (Southern Jordan), Princes of the North, and Zidonians (Lebanon)
32:24-25: There is Elam (Southwest Iran) …which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet they bore their shame with them that go down to the pit. They have set her bed in he midst of the slain, with all her multitude, with her graves all around it. All of the uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit…
32:26: There is Mesheck, and Tubal (Russia) … slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living. (27b) They were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
32:30: There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians,” (probably Lebanon/Hezbollah) “with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword.
32:32: For I have caused my terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord God.
Those who know their bible and understand the covenants of God with Israel will know the present-day judgment of nations align with God’s judgment of the seven nations in Ezekiel 29-32. We are watching as one nation after the other nation is being overturned. It is my persuasion that it is the judgment of God overturning the corruption and terrorism of nations.
Chapters 25-32 prefigure the Day of the Lord in an eschatological sense. Historically it was when Nebuchadnezzar conquered Israel in the fourth year of King Jehoiakim (587-585 B.C.).
Prophetically it is the time of the judgment of the nations. At the same time this end-time judgment is released, there will be the exaltation of the Horn (National Power) of Israel and Spiritual Israel, The Church.
This points to the victory of the Church over the world through Jesus Christ “In that day I will cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD” (Ez. 29:21). It also points to national Israel’s victory over the world system of nations (United Nations) as well as the world system that leaves God out of its reckoning metaphorically described as Egypt.
11 Thess. 2:8: And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.
The prophecies are against the nations who had treated Israel with scorn, mocking, contempt and revenge. Seven Nations were singled out for condemnation: Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia, Tyre, and Sidon; and Egypt and Egypt’s allies (Ez. 25-32).
So, there is no confusion, Egypt’s allies are judged separately in Ezekiel 32: 18-32: Asshur (Iraq), Elam (Iran), Meshech, Tubal, (Russia) Edom (Southern Jordan), Princes of the North, and Zidonians (Lebanon)
Each nation’s judgment was how they treated Israel in the midst of God’s judgment of Judah. Each one was brought to a place where “they shall know that I am the LORD. I believe this will also apply to all nations who did not stand with Israel and the United States in God’s judgment of Iran. As I believe according to the Word of God, this is a Holy War as “IT IS WRITTEN.”
1. Ammon – Rejoiced with contempt at the profaning of the Temple, the desolation of the land, and the exile of Judah… (25:3) The Ammonites speak of the principle of mixture, especially fleshly pride. Their capital was Rabbah, the present Amman. They had joined Babylon against Judah about 600 B.C.) Judgment: Deliver Ammon into the hands of a conqueror (Babylon) who will rule and dwell in her and eat the fruit of the land. (25:4). Clapped their hands and stamped their feet, mocking Israel. You shall know that I am the Lord.” 25:5.
2. Moab /Seir (Central Jordan) --- The sin of Moab was that they lacked respect for Israel claiming that Israel was like all the other nations, which was scorn (25:9) Judgment: Deliver Moab with Ammon to the men of the east that she may not be remembered among the nations (25: 9-10). “And you shall Know that I am the Lord (Verse 11b).
3. Edom - degraded Judah and laughed at the ide of her destruction (25:12). Judgment: Edom became desolate from Teman to Dedan (25:13). His vengeance was executed by the hand of its people (25:13). Edom, or Seir, was related more closely to Israel than either Ammon or Moab (Gen. 25:23). Israel was plainly laid to revenge. “And they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord God” (Verse 14).
4. Philistia – Palestine – They acted with revenge, showing perpetual enmity and hostility against Judah (25:15). “The Philistines represent Demonic spirits in the land, the perpetual enemies of Israel. The Philistines speak of the principle of the earthy, carnal mind and those who wallow in the same. They can also be likened to demonic powers with Goliath as their champion. God accused the Philistines of having been motivated repeatedly by revenge and having carried on a perpetual enmity against Israel. Among the enemies of Israel, the Philistines were referred to in the O.T. than any other nation. They gave their name to the entire land although they were able to subjugate to their rule and government only a small portion of the coast. They constantly harassed and oppressed Israel until under governance by David, who broke their power. They were conquered by Jehoshaphat, subjugated by Uzziah, were strong under Jehoram, were powerful under Ahaz, and were subdued by Hezekiah. ‘And They shall know that I am the Lord” (Verse 17b).
5. Tyre - The prophecy concerning Tyre (Lebanon) covers chapters 26-28. Sought to take advantage of Jerusalem during the Babylonian siege… (26:2). They further looked upon the event as an opportunity to acquire their “fill” or spoil… (26:2). Tyrians sold Jews as slaves later to the Greeks and Edomites. The prophecy set forth in chapters 26-28 have been fulfilled with unmistakable literalness (Isa. 23; Jer. 47:4).` Total desolation came upon her cities. Tyre became a place fit only for the drying of fish nets (26:4,14).
Ezekiel here prophesied that Tyre would become like the “top of a rock” – a bare place where fishermen would “spread nets.” During the Crusades (1144 A.D.) when it was abandoned to 50-60 families who “spread their nets” on the island, bringing to pass the word of Ezekiel in detail almost 2000 years later! The god of Tyre was Melkart, an idol with hands outstretched to receive human blood.
Tyre speaks of the principle of trafficking and merchandizing, the pomp and pride of the satanic world system. Tyre speaks of the love of money (1 Tim. 6:10). “And they shall Know that I am the LORD.” (28:22).
6. Prince of Tyre- Lebanon - Exalted himself to be as God (28: 1-2) – proud of accumulated riches; has iniquity within him and is filled with violence (28:15). Exalted himself and corrupted his wisdom – defiled the sanctuary with iniquity (28:18). His judgment bring forth a fire from the midst of him and bring him to ashes (28:18). He shall be no more. (28:19).
That there is a demonic Prince of Tyre over Lebanon is no stretch for me. In 28: 14-17 we have the description of an angelic being whom we know to be a high-level angel:
You were the anointed cherub who covers. I established you. You were on the holy mountain of God. You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created; until iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading, You became filled with violence within; and you sinned. Therefore, I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground. I laid you before kings that they might gaze at you. You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading. Therefore, I brought fire from your midst. It devoured you. I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you.
7. Zidon - (28:20-26) After Ezekiel deals with the King of Tyre and the spirit behind the King of Tyre, he prophesies to Zidon. Zidon speaks of the principle of spiritual trafficking as well as human trafficking. Zidon was the seventh of the enemy people surrounding Israel that are dealt with in chapters 25-32.
28:22: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ez. 29:21: In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
8. Egypt - In chapters 29-32, Egypt, under the figure of the Day of the Lord, reveals a time in which the “SWORD”(30:4) (Word of God) will come upon the world and the carnal mind. “The pride of her power shall come down.” 29:6: And they shall know that I am the LORD. These chapters deal with one theme, Judgment upon Egypt, the principle of the bondage of the sin of the world (kosmos). Satan is the god and prince of this world system, just as pharaoh was the god and king of Egypt. Egypt’s judgment - Set a fire in Egypt and all her allies shall be destroyed (29: 6-8).
Egypt in chapter 30 prefigures the Day of the Lord, the time of the judgment of the nations.
30:9: In that Day (The Day of the Lord), messengers shall go forth from me (The Lord) in ships to make the careless Ethiopians (horn of Africa) afraid, and great pain shall come upon them as in the day of Egypt; for lo it comes. These messengers could be a military force, but more likely the Angels of Matthew 13:41.
9. Pharaoh - Chapter 31 is an allegory of Pharaoh’s fall. There is a mingling of the symbolical and the real, and parallels to Isa. 14: 3-20. He was prideful and lifted himself up. The Babylonians had brought the Assyrian empire to an end, and they would be instruments to do the same in Egypt. This prophecy is a warning to Pharaoh from the fate of the Assyrians.
32:2: You are like a young lion among the nations, and you are like a monster in the seas…
32:14: then I will make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, says the Lord God.
Ez. 32:18: Son of man wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations unto the nether parts of the earth with them that go down in the pit.
32:21: The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell…they have gone down. They lie with the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
Job 4:9: “by the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.”
32:22: “Assyria is there” (Northern Iran) 32:23: whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword which caused terror in the land of the living.
