1. Co. 1:23: We preach Christ crucified…to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Lord Jesus, we thank you for the “Angel of Your Presence,” the Glory of Your Presence, your goodness, mercy, love, long-suffering, peace, joy, greatness, grace, Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and so much more. Lord Jesus, we ask for the might of your POWER to be released to your Church. My Bible is clear: “Christ is the power of God.” Lord Jesus, like the Church in Corinth, let us touch the message of the cross. For us who are being saved, it is the power of God. (1 Co. 1:18).
Christ crucified is the POWER OF God and the WISDOM of God. In the Day of the LORD, this whole world system is going to come to nought by a people who have embraced the Way of the Cross.
Lord you have brought together a group of people who hunger and thirst after righteousness. We want to be a part of that company of people who are going to invade the world of darkness and the heavenly realms with the wisdom of God and bring release to the captive souls and spirits of men. Let us set our faces as flint toward the pathway of the Cross, the power of God.
We have in the midst of our fellowship multiple generations. Yes, the older generation who established Eastgate Church in Houston, Texas is getting older, but they carry the perseverance, the habitation of the Holy Spirit, the Faith, and the endurance to press ever onward and upward to the great call of the Church to the heights of Zion. These follow the Lamb in battle, and overcome the hosts of evil, “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony.”
One of our heavenly commissions is intercession for the nation and nations.
August 14th, Dutch Sheets posted in Give Him 15 a dream given to Steven Springer. The dream spoke of the intensified intercession for Iran and the Middle East. He saw people warring and contending spiritually. It seemed like a spiritual standoff--- pushback after pushback, resistance against resistance. The battle was intense in the heavenly realm. Another contingent of the Ecclesia entered the dream dressed as spiritual warriors. They represented both the grace and authority of God. One of the leaders shouted: “Let’s do this! This is our time! This is our Hour!” (end of quote).
This should be the war cry of the Church. “Let’s do this!”
In January 2025, I started a synopsis of each Book of the Bible at Tuesday Morning Bible Study. We are now in the Book of Joel.
From Genesis to Revelation, Persia/Elam/Iran is the enemy of God’s chosen people beginning with two of the grandsons of Noah, Elam son of Shem and Madai (Medes), son of Japeth. – Genesis 14, Elam invaded Canaan. This is the first major battle of scripture. Then Abraham attacks with his army and rescues Lot.
Esther – Haman’s plot to kill all the Jews.
Isa.22:6: Elam bore the quiver (missiles) with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield.
Jer. 49:35-39: Behold, I will break the bow (missiles) of Elam, the foremost of their might… I will set my throne in Elam, and destroy from there the king and the princes, says the LORD.
Ezekiel: God’s judgment against the spirit of terror in chapters 26-32. Persia is part of the confederation of Gog/Magog. We are watching this unfold.
Daniel was given a vision of the battle between the Prince of Persia and the Prince of Grecia, to the rise of Alexander the Great. In Chapter 8, he was translated by vision to Shushan, Iran on the banks of the Ulai. He was given a vision of the Antichrist. He also was given a vision of the dominion, glory and kingdom of Christ. (Dan. 7:13-14).
Babylon fell to the Medes and Persians. Cyrus defeated the Medes and brought them together under one empire, Persia.
Joel describes the army of the LORD in heaven and earth defeating the enemies of Israel.
Joel 2:27: You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else; and My people shall never be ashamed.
The corporate Overcomer, those apprehended for the “high calling” (Phil. 3: 12-14), make up the Lion Company who prophesy out of Zion.
Joel 3:16: The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake; but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
Joel 2:1: Blow the trumpet in Zion. Sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble. For the day of the LORD is coming. For it is at hand.
Joel 3:2: “I will also gather all nations…”
Joel’s prophecy comes full circle. The complete desolation of Judah and Zion. (The high calling) in Joel 1:1-20 brought forth the sound of the trumpet, calling us to the much-needed consecration of Joel 2:1-32. After this comes the global restoration described in Joel 3:1-21.
Joel 3:1-8 begins with the Lord’s vindication. He judges every strange “nation” that has dared to raise its voice against Zion.
Joel 3 must be preached in this time. For surely, we are watching as the LORD GOD is moving in power in “all nations.” President Trump has been mandated with a burden for peace not just for our nation, but for “all nations.”
To him who overcomes and does My will to the end, I will give authority over the nations… (Rev. 2: 26-27).
The trumpet is to “proclaim” this sound among the Gentiles. (Joel 1:14; 2:15, 32). All the “nations” are summoned to the Valley of Jehoshaphat (God’s judgment).
His Holy Army has been prepared to execute His purposes.
Joel 3:9: …wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up.
This trumpet-blast is a double wake-up call.
Don’t be afraid Zion! God has made you ready for this Day. You were “weak” in Adam. But now we have “power” in Christ Jesus.
These faithful ones will sound the alarm. They will call this nation to repentance under the power of the Holy Ghost, the power of the Cross of Christ.
Steven Springer’s dream: “Let’s do this!” This is our Time! This is our Hour!” “Some of the group took an appeal to Heaven flag, lifted it, and forcefully struck the ground. The flag represents prayer, appealing to heaven, as does “striking” the ground. Striking is actually one of the literal meanings of the Old and New testament words for intercession. The moment the pole struck the earth, a tremendous bolt of lightning shot upward into the heavens, even reaching the throne room of God. This pictures heaven and earth agreeing, working together. Decrees went forth, and as they did, Steven saw the LORD manifest his authority and execute righteousness. From heaven came lightning, fire, and a massive hammer, like a great war hammer. As it moved through the heavenly realms, a bolt of lightning struck the forces of darkness across the Middle East, removing them from their places of rule.”
N.I.V: The Lord thunders at the head of his army.
Trumpets are calling us to the place of consecration, to return to the high calling. Stir us again O’ LORD with the power of Your
Spirit. Men and women of prayer, praise and worship are sounding this message. Only those who can show mercy will proclaim Zion’s call.
Steven Springer Dream – Give Him 15: “There was a tremendous upheaval throughout Iran, rising above the chaos and releasing the sound of freedom and awakening. People who had been held under spiritual deception and an evil tyranny began to awaken and cry out: “truly the One true and Living God, Yeshua, has saved us and brought us freedom!” Fire fell from heaven and consumed everything that had been hindering the presence of God. Then, the hammer of the LORD struck the ground, releasing a tremendous earthquake. Lightning flashed across the heavens, followed by deafening claps of thunder throughout the skies of the Middle East, symbolizing God’s power, and silenced the voices of evil. Every competing sound was silenced before the voice and majesty of the LORD.”
“It shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
The remnant is called!
God’s promise is sure. All this will “come to pass” (Joel 2:28). God is no respecter of persons or faces. Whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be delivered.
There shall be deliverance in the “remnant whom the Lord shall call” with the high calling! Rejoice if you have been set apart to go through the fire of God; and you have been through an overturning. That means the Lord has called you to the high calling.
Steven Springer Dream – Give Him 15: What happened in Iran began creating tremors throughout the broader Middle East region, as deception was exposed and truth was unveiled concerning the identity, power, love, and majesty of the One True God. People began to encounter the power and authority of God and His Word. The nations of earth seemed to stand still; people somehow know that something had shifted in the realm of the Spirit. Steven saw an enormous banner stretched across the nations of the earth. Written upon it, YESHUA IS GOD, AND HE IS LOVE! The banner waved over the entire planet… Then God announced: “I am ready to perform my word!”
