THE GLORY OF THIS LATTER HOUSE
THE GLORY OF THIS LATTER HOUSE

Hag. 2:9: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former says the LORD of hosts and in this place will I give peace, says the LORD of hosts.
Col. 3:15: Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you are called in one body, and be thankful.
Heb. 3:6: Christ as a son over his own house, whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
This past week, Prophetess Eula Washington invited me to preach on the glory of the latter house. The conference was delayed due to health challenges of Sister Eula. As the providence of God directs our Tuesday Bible Study, our scheduled teaching was Haggai. The church as in the days of Haggai, needs a prophetic stirring from God. We must reconnect to the only thing God is really doing in the earth-building a habitation (house) for Himself which is His glory resident in Christ Jesus resident in His Bride.
Our President, Donald J. Trump, entered his second term seeking peace and reconciliation between nations. Yet, in so doing, he is exposing deep evil in not only this nation, but the nations of the earth all related to the One World Order and the conspiracy of nations. He is being used to shake the nations. Not only are the nations being shaken, but we have stood as our church leadership has been shaken in 2026 through physical infirmities. This shaking is worldwide.
Our hope and expectation is to raise up a house of greater glory and unshakeable peace, able to withstand a period of great global shaking and to encourage those generations on the earth who have not experienced the Hand of the Most High God.
We have received an apostolic call to a work of faith in the face of adversity (1 Co. 15:58).
As we come to the mid-term elections of 2026, I have a peace that the elections have been won. This is not a “thus saith the LORD,” just a feeling that I am to thank God for turning the heart of the nation back to God’s vision and heart, the true purpose of God in the earth.
Divine government is theocratic, not democratic. All authority is centered in Jesus, then passed to those whom He chooses.
“Life’s problems lie not with the times and conditions of the day, but with the hearts of the people.”
God’s promise for tomorrow is our hope for today.
Heb. 12:14: Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the LORD.
The Person who called us has never changed. Heb. 13:8: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
The Promise that thrilled us has never changed. 1 Ki.8:56: …there has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
The Power that will enable us to finish our course with joy has never changed. Phil. 1:6: Being confident of this very thing, He which begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
God has never changed. His heart and purpose for His people remains the same.
Seventy years have passed since the Latter Rain outpouring (1948-1956). This fellowship has a measure of the “Glory Rain,” yet we are still surrounded by a great need to see His house finished, The glorious church in the fullness of the glory of the latter house, the glory of Jesus Christ revealed in deliverance, healing, miracles, signs, and wonders. Yes! But the Word says, “In this place, I will give peace.”
I have preached volumes on “peace.” This fellowship has heard these volumes year after year. I received a visitation from an angel of peace and that glory abides.
I believe the greatest gift the Lord Jesus Christ gave to the world beyond our salvation. redemption and God’s love is the grace of peace. If I could give peace as a gift to all my friends and family, it would be your greatest blessing with the exception of your salvation and righteousness through the power of the Blood.
The carnal soul and its lusts cannot give you this peace and joy. The world system cannot give it to you. Carnality and the world do not own peace. But you can own it.
“My Time in Heaven” by: Richard Sigmund: "The third most beautiful and glorious place in Heaven is a glory cloud of the peace of God. It was the peace of His presence which surpassed all understanding. The first most glorious place he saw was God's Throne; the second, and equal to it was the Lord Jesus. The third was the fountain of all peace."
The latter house of greater glory is the many-membered Body of Christ, the habitation of the Lord. This living temple is made up of individual stones, and each stone must make his calling and election sure.
Hab. 2:6-8: Thus, saith the LORD, Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land. I will shake All nations and the desire of nations shall come and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine and the glory is mine, says the LORD of hosts.
The greater glory for most will be rediscovered in the rubble of their present situation, the current ruined state of things. Discouragement robs you of purpose and calling.
Philippians 4:7; 9: The peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus… Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do; and the God of peace shall be with you.
The peace of God shall keep you!
The God of peace shall be with you! (Ro. 15:33).
Ro. 2:10: Glory, honor and peace to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.
This revelator understanding of the end time was given to the prophet Haggai over 2,500 years ago. As a messenger of the Lord in his message, a window in the spirit was opened enough for Haggai to peer straight into the realm of eternal Spirit. In this vision Haggai was able to see the day and time when God would create a people for His name and pleasure---a glorious church who would show forth the stability and permanency of the Lord’s unwavering Kingdom.
Hag. 2: 22-23: “I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, everyone by the sword of his brother. In that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
How big is the Father’s plan of restoration? The parameter of unshakeable peace is the whole earth. All creation and every area of our lives will be impacted and leavened by His Spirit. Heaven and earth will yield up a Kingdom that cannot be moved (Heb. 12:25-29).
The chariots, with their horses and riders, represent the wisdom and strength of men. All will be swallowed up in the Day of the Lord. The Prince of Peace is the Ruler. His name is Jesus.
Romans 5:1: Therefore. being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Col. 3:15: Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you are called in one body, and be thankful.
God has called us to peace. (1 Co.7:15).
For He Himself is our peace (Eph. 2:14).
What is the making of a Peacemaker?
God is a PEACE-CREATOR. Those in his image also have a creative word of reconciliation in their mouth.
Col. 1:20: Having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things to Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
As Ministers of the Gospel, when we lose our peace, we are disqualified to minister into a situation.
Satan knows the power of the spoken creative word. The only way he can stir up trouble in the home or local church is with the tongues of men. A peacemaker (peace-creator) is not just peaceable, he/she is a producer and manufacturer of peace. And this peace is not mechanically made but flows from a changed nature (James 3: 13-18). This changed nature is the nature of King Jesus, who is the Prince of Peace.
A peacemaker is concerned with the GLORY OF God among men. He knows that trouble distracts. Thus, this mature ministry intervenes to make peace. The proof that we are a Son of God is that we are a peacemaker.
Heb. 3:1-5: Holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has built the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by some man, but he that built all things is God. Moses was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after.
In the time of global shaking and the distress of nations, God’s people need not wring their hands, sweating and fretting. What are we to do? The cleat answer from God’s infallible word speaks for itself.
1 Co. 15:58: Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the LORD because you know that your labor in the LORD is not in vain.
Prov. 16:3: Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established.
